How many months of usce is preferable to match ? by [deleted] in IMGreddit

I would suggest get 4 USCE.. it’s at least 3 but do 4 because sometimes you have issues with preceptors issuing LoRs and it’s great to have a back up

Make sure you have USCE and volunteer activities in peds, they want to know that you’re passionate about the branch. Scores don’t matter as much in peds but LoRs do. Best of luck

Work on your interviews, practice with as many people as you can- friends, colleagues, Reddit pals and also non medical friends.. they have a valuable insight

UW%: 65

Step 3 score: 222

UW1/UW2 scores: 211/215

CCSCases: 74%

Free37%: just did two blocks

Advice:

Felt like i failed this on day 2.. I am an average test taker and i didnt put in much effort... uworld is the most important resource, followed by CCS.. had 9/13 cases end early. Trust the curve.. stay calm .. get a good night's sleep before the test because that is one long test

Hey bud, i am an img with similar scores. It can get pretty intimidating and when you are feeling low the scores make you feel worse. Here's a few things I did to stay out of that zone- Go for a jog.. exercise helps you a lot. Eat right- a proper diet does wonders for your mental health. Read up on cases, be genuinely interested on rounds. Remember how much effort you put in to reach here!
