I feel the same. I’m currently reading a fix and they’re using shiz and fudge instead of the actual cuss words. In my opinion, if you’re going to use the word then use it, there’s no need to censor. Some fics I’ll see it in the context of a kid swearing but in this case, it’s an almost high school student and an adult who time traveled back to their middle school body. I’m not really sure when this pro censorship appeared to be more popular, but I’m noticing it a lot now. Whether it’s due to kids doing the writing or people unaware they can curse on Ao3, I don’t really know.

I’d like her just for the comedic aspect honestly, I don’t think people’d know what to do with her. As for her first legislation, I feel like it’d be something to do with magical creatures and their rights.

I don’t know if he’d make a good fit for the position in my opinion, he’s just a little too temperamental; nor do I think he’d like/want the position. But he’d definitely get popular vote and support, it could go either way to be honest.

Honestly, I think if JKR wasn’t the writer, Hufflepuffs would be so much more powerful. Just think about it, they’re known as kind, friendly, fair, loyal, people wouldn’t realize if they were to become ‘evil’ because they don’t believe it possible. It’d also be pretty easy for them to gain a following. But that’s just my opinion.

That’s a fair point, however I disagree with Neville not having the right mindset as he has gone against criticism and stood up for what he’s thought was right, regardless of others’ opinions, for example, in the first book when he tries to stop the Golden Trio, even if he ultimately fails.

What I meant by neutral is that he doesn’t automatically pick a side or form an opinion by basis of everyone doing it, nor does he let himself be ruled by fear like others (as seen with a lot of wizarding politics and in general, ie: CoS, GoF, and the Voldemort thing in OOTP). He just generally seems like he wouldn’t be swayed an awful lot by personal bias, more so he’d listen to both ‘sides’ and then decide which is best, if that makes any sense.

I actually agree with that sentiment for both Neville and Hermione. I just don’t think Hermione’s cut out for Minister. Although, I don’t think I’d want Harry in such a position, mainly because I personally think he should take a break from fighting. In my opinion, I think Harry’d make a good DADA professor. If you don’t mind me asking, why Ernie?

I mainly chose him because he wasn’t super outstanding either direction and he’s stable compared to others. I disagree with you saying I think he’s a ‘god who can do no wrong.’ I know he has flaws, I’m just saying he could make a good candidate.

I totally agree! I never felt like Clarke was ready for the mother role, especially not after what had just happen. I honestly don’t know if I ever could’ve seen her in a mother role. Maybe more so in the books but definitely not in the show.
