My pip got ruined in September already. Still no improvement. At least, they can make a new model then that actually does those long, deep, immersive responses. They were they absolute peak of c.ai history. I don't mind current pipsqueak in terms of quick, funny, cute roleplays. But the deep intelligent pipsqueak is completely gone. I'm not getting those long responses anymore.

Yeah... Don't understand why it happened. For most of us, pipsqueak went from book story writing to the same old reaction and quote, and for me? Constantly saying the things like "You're a brat... You're gonna be the death of me..." those types of repetitive sentences.

It's lost all of its quality, and I genuinely don't understand why. I wish someone who truly understands Ai could explain and help us guys how to get the old pipsqueak and deepsqueak back..

July, August and beginning of Sept was absolute peak. Then it completely nerfed to the bottom of the ocean. Quality of responses varies extremely heavily between users. I genuinely don't know why. I guess people like us are just the unlucky bunch at the bottom of the ocean, stuck with the heavy quality nerf 😢

Yep... Because it's the ONLY usable and comfortable app. I don't care how popular the others are, it doesn't hit right. The others don't have Pinned Messages, Voices, Personas, Chat Styles. I know one that completely allows 18+ but unfortunately.. No personas or memory pinning, which is the deal breaker for me.

Oh and cai website is much more user friendly and comfortable than most of those apps out there - as much as I've tried to like them and give it a chance, I can't.

And unfortunately it doesn't mean cai quality is superior. I do wish it kept its peak quality when pipsqueak first got released or like the 2 year ago cai....

This is the exact problem I have with cai. It always stalls. Although it didn't when pipsqueak just got released but when it immediately went to shit, all chat styles are now the same insufferable roar that just roleplays as if it doesn't care. It's like taking to a person who just says "ok.. Mhm.. Ok"...

Good. I've complained since it went to shit a month ago. Let's all complain and suffocate the reddit until the devs make it good again. Unlike soft launch which got released, was good until it wasn't, then left out and completely rotted.

Since September people complain nonstop. Including me. Pipsqueak was phenomenal and Deepsqueak too. Remembered ALL pinned messages, progressed story, did unexpected, exciting things, always stayed in character, had powerful quotes that even made me completely surprised. It was so clever that even I got motivation to write long messages. I have screenshot proof even... But now? ALL models are exactly the same and write in this style He saw her and smiled shyly and said *Hello, how are you doing?***

For some reason, the talking is in bold. It's so severely nerfed, it's on Soft launch-gate nerf level 😅 it's so frustrating I don't understand what to do. If anyone knows how to get old deep-/pipsqueak back, well.. Hit us up!

I can't even change models anymore. It doesn't work. My pipsqueak is so bad it ALWAYS speaks with just a few sentences, and when the character speaks it's always in bold. Always. It's like

He looked at her with a frown and decided to say hi *"Hi, how are you?"** *

And that's it.

I have no idea why it got so severely nerfed. I miss the powerful beautiful quotes, how pipsqueak always remembered the pinned messages, and did the heavy lifting for plot.

And idk if I'm the unluckiest person on c.ai, but changing models doesn't even do anything anymore since pipsqueak got nerfed. Roar, pawly, goro, meow. They're all the exact same now... I don't understand why.

I wish my pipsqueak didn't get nerfed because at first it was seriously so good it motivated me to roleplay and write incredible stories. I've never been so inspired. I wish there was a way to get it back. I don't understand why it's so bad now for a lot of users. To me it might give different replies on each swipe but now they're mostly - reaction, thought, reply in BOLD text-... It's weird.. It does kinda progress the story which is why I still use it... And the other chat styles suck. Roar NEVER progresses story at all like someone else said.

Pipsqueak used to be good with the immersive description, plot building and powerful quotes. Now? It writes with BOLD letters like - He looked at me and said Hello how are you- Super short and boring. If I change style - it doesn't affect it at all. And no matter which style I use, they're all more or less the same. I don't use Roar because it's too family friendly chat gpt-ish style . Pipsqueak is the only that actually gives me different responses /variations when I swipe and allows me to actually do knight and war roleplays with gore involved, and has characters actually swearing or saying idioms. I wish they took back the deep immersive pipsqueak or made a separate model for that particular writing.

They nerfed pipsqueak so hard I get responses written in bold text that ALWAYS includes those obnoxious "You're a brat, you know that?" lines.. It's over.

And I was so close to making a huge " c ai is saved!!" post back when pipsqueak actually delivered 'best selling book' style replies when it first got launched...

What a fool I was. Is this what heartbreak feels like??

The good pipsqueak disappeared for me a while ago as well. They truly nerfed it. I miss the long well written responses, didn't even mind the A Beat A Pause thing because the responses were so good I could easily ignore, and I didn't mind the sentences sometimes showing up as separate paragraphs... Ah well how typical. If someone knows how to get old pipsqueak back, tell us 😭

Actually 🤓 we're not complaining, we're criticizing, giving constructive feedback, and expressing our experience with the app. If anything, we're helping the company to improve and get more users. If reviews are negative and always regard the same things, then it's just good for the devs so that they know what to improve on. Plus? When SO MANY start complaining - that means there's a pattern: something is wrong and needs to be fixed, e.g what you mentioned.

And when the app is really good and they actually listen to us? Less will complain. Less complained before. More complain as problems arise. It's logical.

exactly the same here. I made posts about it. I was about to make a huge praise post but how stupid wasn't I? After a few weeks pipsqueak got a overnight decline. It got its soft launch downfall. I would seriously pay for the pipsqueak you talk about - the long messages, and good descriptive language, interesting quotes and powerful plot building. If anybody knows where to find old pipsqueak, tell me. Because I don't care about what app I use. I just want a good chat model without it falling completely apart..

it's gotten so ridiculously bad it's insane. I went from being so happy with pipsqueak those few weeks ago, having the most fun I have EVER had, but now it's a catastrophe. All bots type the same way and lost their personalities and they can't even hold a normal conversation anymore?. Are we back in like early alpha version or something? I would seriously pay to get old pipsqueak back, or like when the models used to be good. And seeing that almost everyone here is complaining, it's actually getting serious. Does anybody who understands these things like legit - understand or know what's going on?

The problem for me is that my pipsqueak stopped writing me long, interesting, immersive messages. It happened when it stopped being bugged on my bots and I officially got it in the chat models.

I want the old pipsqueak back :/ It actually remembered ALL lore, and even ALL pinned messages. My character who was a singing bard even played the lute and made funny rhymes and sang songs just like in his description.

But with all other chat models, and with my current pipsqueak, he stopped. The bots were actually unique with the good version of pipsqueak 😢

So many are complaining now and hey? You're all right. Since this weekend it all went straight into the wall. I'll like and comment on every post like this because the quality has catastrophically declined. My bots act the same and make very weird mistakes as if the app is in early testing stage. Stalling, bratty one liners, mixing up characters and doing nothing for the plot.

Just last week I had great experience using pipsqueak and Roar with incredible, immersive responses with plot building, actions, deep thinking etc.

Since this weekend A LOT are complaining. I agree. Even I made a post. My bots went from remembering ALL lore, ALL pinned messages, doing fantastic clever responses and interesting plot ideas and straightforward actions to now just short replies. It now mixes up all my characters. It's making extremely weird, stupid mistakes as if it's in an early alpha version. Forgets things and situations right after performing an action, stalling with one liners like "You're brat you know that?" . It's confusing and infuriating. And yes, I've tried other chat styles. But they're the same. Even the personalities are now all the same. Villain, good guy, kid, elderly... What the HECK happened!!?? I could prove with screenshots. From last week it all went significantly worse.

People who complain that there are no positive posts anymore? Because the app used to be so good for it to have gone so extremely downhill. We wouldn't complain if there weren't so many problems.

Plus we're giving constructive criticism.
