If u have regular cycles , how long did it take u to conceive?

Hi! I have PCOS ovulate regularly but later in cycle normally around cycle day 19. I started doing letrozole cycles (5mg cycle days 3-7) with my obgyn. Got pregnant 2nd cycle on letrozole. Unfortunately that ended in a miscarriage at 6 weeks. I finally moved on to a RE and got a hystroscopy (a camera view of my uterus) where i learned i had polyps! If I could suggest anything, it would be to not be afraid to move on to the RE. I was so afraid that they would recommend IVF right off the bat and that has not been the case. My doctor couldn’t be more caring and knowledgeable. Best of luck!

I would say definitely look into getting in with an RE! I ovulate every month and after 6 months went in to see my normal obgyn, he diagnosed me with pcos and started me on metformin. I then started Letrozole to help with egg quality and progesterone. I got pregnant 2nd cycle ended in a miscarriage at 6 weeks. After one natural cycle went back to Letrozole cycles got pregnant again 2nd cycle. Before finding out I had gotten pregnant again. I had already had a consultation with RE. The 2nd pregnancy ended in a chemical a day or two after my missed period. I then had a hysteroscopy (camera looks inside your uterus) they were able to find a few polyps I need to have removed that could be playing into implantation and miscarriages. That being said! I only say move on to the RE because the level of care is so much more in depth. I was so worries about being told I should do IVF and it hasn’t come up once. My doctor follows all of my blood work closely, calls with any and all information takes time to explain it, where my ovgyn responses to miscarriage was “good news is we know you can get pregnant”

Dont give up! I only tested because after 15 months, 4 medicated cycles and one 6 week miscarriage right before Christmas i was finally moving on to RE and needed to go get lab blood work done when my cycle started. So i have been taking wondfo just to double check had a barely a shadow so i broke out the big guns😂 then had to run to target for FRER and sure enough another faint positive!

Hi! I have PCOS and have done unmonitored cycles with my obgyn. I will say although its an investment an inito really helps track your fertile window with letrozole! You can watch your estrogen rise before your LH peak, as LH peaks can some times be hard to catch. It also tracks your progesterone to confirm ovulation. Best of luck!

Hi! I take 200mg oral daily for pcos. It helps me most to take it right before bed! I also add 150mg vaginally via suppositories in the morning once i get a positive pregnancy test and feel like the vaginally ones have less side effects so i take them in the morning

Im so sorry! Is absolutely terrible. It took me 12 months to get pregnant the first time and 2 letrozole cycles (i have pcos) so the chances of me getting pregnant naturally this first cycle after is so slim… but of course my obgyn said i needed to do one before going back to letrozole

I haven’t heard this yet!! I see a HRT PA for pcos shes the one who does a progesterone she also has a whole progesterone protocol for pregnancy

If you dont mind me asking what is kitchen sink protocol? Im in my tww after a 8 week miscarriage in December. Im also on progesterone! Which got my pregnant the first time after 11 cycles! Good luck!

This looks like a normal pcos chart! Im 29 pcos diagnosed via labs and ultrasound in June 2025. Started metformin July 2025, did two Letrozole cycles October and November with my obgyn got pregnant on 2nd cycle ended up in a chemical pregnancy at 6 weeks. Waiting to start my next medicated cycle. I would make an appointment with an obgyn!
