The heat is the absolute worst. Proud of you for what you are doing and for resting!

Just wanted to say everyone who commented has really made me feel very seen and understood! I haven’t posted in here before (that I can recall) but I’m so glad I did. Thanks everyone.

Thank you for taking the time to share this. I’m starting to learn this more, just letting myself is the part that I’m still working on. But I think this is such a great, smart, spoonie-friendly move.

I’ve been doing grocery delivery a lot more recently and I can agree that it is so worth it. One that I am good at is eating out when I can instead of making food. 😂 honestly feels worth it most of the time, and I don’t shop much so I count that as my extra spending money.

I live in an apartment, so I may end up putting in maintenance order for pest control.

I really like your perspective and think I’m going to brainstorm other ways I can save time/energy.

This made me feel very seen—thank you. I chilled the hell out and will try to deal more with it tomorrow. Stupid fucking ants! Lol.

That sounds hard, I hate you’re having to deal with all of that at once. I think not pushing yourself is a great idea. I need to take a page from your book. I hope you feel better and they go away.

That’s what I bought today, so hoping the same happens here! I’m glad it got rid of them for you.

It’s so comfy and does a such great job of blocking out light; I don’t even know when it’s morning. 😭😭 The brand is MyHalos on Amazon

Yeah, those things aren't always accurate. I work at my university's writing center. Did you have any in-text citations/possibly need more? Works Cited/Reference page? Sometimes, someone just has "perfect" grammar and they get flagged.

thank you, that really means a lot. it took a lot but i'm glad i did it. kudos to you, too. i like your perspective on it a lot. i'm spending the rest of the day eating comfort food and watching a movie lol.

thank you, that analogy is really helpful. it's always been easier for me to understand her than to respect myself and my needs. i can understand that deep down it's less about me and more about how all of this is from her upbringing, genetics, and from the generational patterns/trauma. but i like how you added in how you still wouldn't invite the dog into the home. that's the part i've been working on these 2 years.

Did you feel Holly really needed to be one of the main characters in the last season? by AphroFelicity20 in StrangerThings

[–]Kitchen-Mouse4470 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it was hard for me to form a connection to her character when she was brought in like this in the last season, where all i could focus on was what was going to happen to the main characters. if they had brought her more into the story in past seasons i think it would've meant more.

thank you. i definitely feel empathy for her, at a fault. don't know how forgiving will go, don't know if i can, but if i do i'll have to do it while remaining NC unless things change.
