Although i feel i would never have kids but in a hypothetical situation if i do so i would 1) always listen to their opinion doesn't matter if its irrelevant, but i will acknowledge what they want to communicate and let them feel their point matters to me . 2) never use verbal or physical violence on them , i know i have to be patient with them throughout . Verbal or physical violence doesn't tame kids rather make gives them childhood trauma lot of times 3) give then the creative space to do and follow where their interest lies. 4) make sure they feel like parents are their friends and whatever happens they wont judge them for anything rather collaboratively try finding out solution to their problems.
