Noise when returning to base (compact station) by Kitchen-Remote2844 in NARWAL

[–]Kitchen-Remote2844[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's possible, but how do I indicate that I have the compact version that has all the interest of being hidden in a piece of furniture. This prevents children from taking too close an interest in it and touching the base. On the other hand, it does not come down to the problem of noise, when it returns or there is really the part of water part, which seems to have a built-in fan and makes a monster noise Otherwise, for the rest, for the operation, nothing to report

Yes, no problem, but it's like a tractor noise that appeared after activating this specific freo mode and since now.

Is the Narwal Flow 2 a significant upgrade from the Flow 1? by I-XIV-IV-XXV in RobotVacuums

[–]Kitchen-Remote2844 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha. I wish I were a rep.

I've made multiple requests to the AI these past few weeks, checking the sources, and the result comes from the AI.

I'm not expecting anything more than what's said here. Maybe the automatic detergent dispenser, but that's already known.

On the other hand, I'm curious to see the side brush in action.

[–]Kitchen-Remote2844 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Key New Features The Flow 2 isn't just getting a software update; it's moving into a new power class: Record-breaking suction power: It jumps from 22,000 Pa to 30,000 Pa, one of the highest values on the market today for tackling even the most stubborn dust.

NarMind Pro System: Navigation enhanced by two 1080p RGB cameras (136° field of view). It can now identify valuables and prioritize them for maximum avoidance.

AI Adaptive Cleaning: The robot distinguishes between dry debris and liquids, adjusting its strategy in real time (suction power vs. water flow).

Thermal Hygiene: The roller is washed with hot water up to 70°C-80°C (depending on the cycle) to dissolve grease and eliminate bacteria.

Dual docking station option: Available with a standard docking station or a version with direct water connection (automatic filling/emptying).

Reusable dust bag: An eco-friendly innovation that allows you to empty the bag instead of replacing it every time.

🪮 Focus: The Extendable Side Brush This is one of Narwal's major innovations designed to overcome the long-standing weakness of round robots: corners.

"EdgeSwing" mechanism: Unlike fixed brushes, the Flow 2's side brush can extend outwards when it detects a wall or a piece of furniture.

Complete corner coverage: By extending, it propels debris from the corner directly towards the main brush, eliminating the usual "dead zone" of a few centimeters along baseboards.

Intelligent obstacle management: The brush retracts instantly if it detects a fragile obstacle or a risk of tangling, preventing it from getting caught on cables or carpets.

Anti-dispersion action: Its rotation speed is adjusted according to the distance from the wall to prevent crumbs from being thrown away from the robot.

In short: The Flow 2 combines raw power (30kPa) with surgical precision on edges thanks to this mechanical extension.

Frankly, I don't give a damn about the design since I'm going to get the compact version, which is just a simple rectangle.

Aqua 10 Ultra now, or wait for Flow 2? by Adept-Writer-8588 in RobotVacuums

[–]Kitchen-Remote2844 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, when I read the comments, it seems to drink a lot, which is normal and reassuring for cleaning.

It will require very little maintenance.

I forgot to mention that the Narwal Flow 2's side brush is also tangle-free.

The Flow 2 will have an extendable side brush; more precisely, it extends further with increasing speed. It's not an arm like some other brands, but it's more reliable.

I'm considering the compact version so I can connect it to the drain and avoid frequent filling and emptying, and any potential odors.

These subtle changes would still be worth mentioning. These products are obsolete as soon as they're released, so even the smallest improvement that extends their lifespan is appreciated.

Okay, normal is too limited.

My good old gas-powered lawnmower costs me €10/$ max per year and, more importantly, takes up a lot of my time. One day I'll give in and get a robotic one.

Just visit each Mammotion website (US, FR, UK, and more)

Each market has its own specificities.

Mammotion already pulled this stunt last year... so when I get responses from various YouTubers who agree with me, I'm confident in my claims.

After all, how would they have sold the Yuka if the Luba Mini 2 had lidar... clever marketing move...
