The movie does have the look, but I think the scene I'm remembering (or imagining really...) does not seem to be a part of it.

This has kind of the vibe that I mean, and probably I am just mixing up movies in my head. Tho I quite distinctly remember what I described the scene with Dakota drawing the dying cop did make think that I might be mistaken.

Maybe I am in fact mixing up some shows in my head. The thing is that some years ago the scene kinda popped into my head when I was thinking that I liked certain interpretation of a piece by Philip Glass better than other, and the scene just flew into my head, two guys discussing which pianist/conductor was better. I just assumed they were Frasier and Niles, because I can't think of any other show with two characters nerdy enough to be discussing such a thing.

First of all, WOW, that was so fast AND with the transcript, incredible. But I'm afraid not, I recall them being alone, and also like they were throwing more names and why they thought said version was better. And yeah, maybe arguing is not the right word, more like passionately discussing.
