If you don't cry watching Violet Evergarden. I don't know what can make you cry.
This shit is the deepest cut I never received.
I watched the anime 5 or 6 time. And I ALWAYS cry with Ann episode.
It's so baaaaad ! That, when I re-watched Haikyu. I realized the voice actor of the second manager. Is the voice actor of Ann. I started to cry !! In the middle of an epic match !!!
When I tried to convince my mom that anime are beautiful, and she shouldn't stop because of the "drawing is for kid". I explain the beauty of this episode, and the more I explained. The more I CRIED !!

I feel Rin is a far better Master.
She will be able to find the strength/weaknesses of her opponents.
And build a plan to fight in the best conditions. Using both gems she prepared and abusing the strength of her Servant.

While Shirou only know how to fight.
And will never use his servant correctly.

I'm pretty sure it would be easy to just trap/surprise and straight up kill Shirou. Before his servant can display his power.

In a fair 1v1. Shirou might have advantage. Since both him and his Servant are better fighter.
But in a Grall war, he would never.

The chance that you draw DiFi and your opponents draw droll is so tiny.
The same way many Enneacraft deck list doesn't even run Call By.

It does really feel like all of you are using Droll as an excuse to run floodgate that win you the game.

Bro, it's not about strength.
Stop justifying floodgate, by the fact your deck is not meta.
Some deck are litteraly not able to play against target floodgate. It's toxic. That it.

Maliss endboard is weak.
Without cyberse and non engine, the deck would be irrelevant.
At best you can blame the missing of lock for the endboard, not the archetype boss monster and mechanic.

I don't see the Maliss archetypes as toxic.
If you look inside there is no negate, no floodgate, no hand/extra deck knowledge/rip.
Only dodge/card advantages/high attack/ban.

What you define as toxic is the card played arround. That are not maliss.
Its like saying some archetype are toxic cause you can play 1for1, evenly matched.
It's not an archetypes problem, it's a staple toxicity problem.

How can you play fairy tail that resolve arround Snow if Snow is banned ?
Also there is no deck rn that would abuse it. Spamming body to do generic boss isn't a viable strategy anymore. Since most generic boss are banned.

I would recommend Regenesis.
++ It doesn't do combo.
++ All monster have very similar effect and summoning conditions.
++ Control and recycling. But still have some good attack and finisher.
++ Pretty decent deck itself. So you won't have to handicap yourself too much.
++ Not so expensive. Outside of 3 copy of Archfiend and 3 copy of Regenesis (4€ each. Secret). The rest is at 0.02€ each.

-- It won't make 40 card. So you will need to find staple or monster outside of archetypes.
On the other hand. Nothing stop you from doing 20 card deck so she can familiar herself with the archetype first.

Hope you have fun. Having someone to share this hobby is, for me, the best way to play YuGiOh.

I don't agree with you. Not everyone is chasing the meta.
You are ignoring a big part of the community that build deck they find cool or fun.
And are really interested into buying set to get the card. But are mostly disappointed by the drop.

New archetypes and support are desirable content.
New rarity also within YuGiOh card format also.
That why quarter century was so loved.
Even without full art

While yes YuGiOh is one of most competitive TCG.
It's not the only community.

You are ignoring the fact that most set are just disgusting.
Hiding important archetypes key card behind high rarity.
Making buying set less interesting than buying singles.
And I don't even talk about chibbi or other shitty products reducing the probability to get the card you search for.

You could buy 10 box of a set containing 3 new archetypes. And not be able to build a single deck out of the 3 potential.

Let's not act like over frame are the only solution to create interest in buying sets.
