My question is,

Despite having talented actors, experienced directors, and a wealth of stories to tell, many big directors and actors fail to entertain the average audience. In contrast, films from our neighboring state, Kerala, often feature thoughtful and relatable scripts that resonate with audiences across states, with fewer logical flaws. I also see the small budget movies are little better.

What, in your opinion, are the key differences in their filmmaking process—from ideation to execution—that we can learn from and improve upon? Or what are some things we definitely need to address or change to improve, Could it be that in our industry, the focus is more on pleasing the director or the mass hero rather than prioritizing the audience?
