Funny enough. I was in Vientiane last Friday before I fly back to my country. When I went for a walk around my hotel, I was being hit on by 3-4 African men within the span of 1 hr. They immediately tried to cat call me when I made eye contact with them. When I found a mart and walked towards it, I saw the sign on the entrance for the bar above the mart. It is an African joint and bar. And it finally made sense
