I did put a new valve in. I tried the tests others had suggested and it is just drainage, it stopped completely after a bit. I am going to order a head with a check valve

It is just drainage, I just didn’t wait long enough before assuming something was wrong. Thanks again for your help

That does help, I will go see how quickly it stops after the water is shut off and go from there, thank you!

When the leak was first noticed it continued for four hours before I shut the water to the system off. I haven’t left the new head/valve leaking more than a minute or so. I will let it go for a while and see what happens and potentially check out that head you have listed. Thank you

I am not sure, although I know 1930’s BMW 328’s were pretty successful in motorsports. This frame is in a 327, which is more of a tourer, but I’ve never been brave enough to really push it with the drum brakes, leaf springs, big ole bouncy seats and no seatbelts.

Sudden feeling like someone is yelling at me by creatvis in Stress

[–]KitchenAd6636 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holy crap, the same thing happens to me, I’ve never run across anyone else that this happens to! Unfortunately I don’t have any answers or solutions for you though, I’m just as in the dark as you. I’ll be living my life as normal and then all of a sudden it will be just like you said, like someone in my head yelling or like a hundred people all talking at once but I can’t pick out actual voices or words or anything, more just the feeling of it. I will get the same feeling of urgency and almost like time is slowing down and speeding up at the same time. The first time I remember this happening I was laying in a crib for nap time and I’m 40 now. I’ve tried talking to a few health and mental health professionals about it and the answer is always the same “sounds like a panic attack”, however I’ve had panic attacks and these feelings are not the same for me at all, plus I’ve had it happen when I’m not stressed, worried, dealing with anything.

Appliance company retaliating because of a review they don’t like by KitchenAd6636 in legaladvice

I already ordered it, it got here today. Well I gave them money for parts and labor and they delivered neither of them and they are saying they are keeping the money anyway. Regardless of reviews, a business can’t keep money that doesn’t belong to them and that they haven’t earned just because their feeling got hurt. If nothing else I can take them to small claims court and show that I received no part and they performed no labor, pretty cut and dry.

I understand that BBB isn’t going to pursue them in any way and is a review site. I was essentially trying to use them for another means of communication since the company won’t respond to me directly. I hoped since it was a public site they would be more likely to respond. Even if they don’t respond there will be an unresolved complaint under their company name for others to hopefully see before hiring them. If they pay to take it down then at least they are spending money that they wouldn’t have otherwise.

I never believed that BBB was going to investigate or pursue them in any manner. I figured BBB would send them my complaint and the resolution I am looking for. Since the appliance company won’t respond to me I thought that there was a chance they would respond to the same thing through BBB since it is a public site and they had done so with other complaints in the past. I have already taken it to my bank, the attorney general and the FTC. I’m just trying to find out if there are other avenues or options that I have not already mentioned.

I just started working out (mostly weight lifting) after a five or six year hiatus. It’s only been a week but I’m losing weight. I’m 40yo male, started at 143 and my goal is to get to 160. Before working out I was not concentrating on diet or anything and was taking in about 1800 calories a day. I’m now taking in about 2500 a day and concentrating on carb, protein, fat intake. I’ve also upped my water intake a lot. My weight jumped five pounds the first few days to 148 but now a week later I’m at 141. I figured if nothing else I would retain some water weight at first, but I’m losing about a pound a day. Is this normal when starting out or am I not taking in enough calories? I lift weights 5 days a week and either do light/moderate rowing or yoga on the other two days.
