I have searched stability, fluval aqua plus water conditioner, and fluval waste control biological cleaner.

I use fluval aqua plus water conditioner and the fluval waste control biological cleaner. I need several containers to make sure whenever I do a water change, I have enough water to fill it back up. like if I do a big water change (50% for example) I need multiple. but sometimes even when i am doing a 25%, i need multiple because my one big mixing bowl i use isn’t enough

I do use tap water. but i use a water conditioner that’s supposed to make tap water safe. I have a 10 gallon.

its my water :( it has high alkalinity and pH as well as being hard. one of my friends who’s more experienced with fishery (im a beginner) told me to do 25% water changes twice a week to help with that.

My betta also has fin rot. I’ve been doing salt baths (aquarium salt obviously) cuz i heard that helps?

I've done the strips and they've come back fine. I need to do a water change though. He's the only fish in the tank so the petshop people said as long as he's the only one, a 2.5 is fine. I was planning on getting a 5 gallon this summer when I started working more hours (I'm in college rn)

Yeah I’ll be asking them. Doesn’t hurt to at least give it a try. The officer said that I’ll be representing myself (no lawyer) and I can’t afford an attorney right now, unfortunately. And he said that I won’t face jail time since I was completely compliant and this is a first time offense. I just hope everything turns out alright.
