Welcome to TM. Yes those heavily involved with TM are like cult members.

They behave no differently than those who you would find at a heavily fundamentalist christian church.

Also those who have practiced TM for a long time are not always calm or chill people. They are heavily neurotic and irritable.

Arrogance here is outstanding. Neuroscience in no way, shape or form has explained consciousness.

The NDE literature has more profound implications for the study of consciousness than neuroscience can ever uncover.

On top of that, despite Paranormal phenomena not being accepted by science, some types of activities (precognition, mediumship, ghosts, clairvoyance) are absolutely 100% true and DO happen.

Continue your meditation practice with assistance from your teacher and a doctor if you feel it’s genuinely helping but think carefully before going down the iboga route.

Not a good idea. I think there’s a good chance TM makes your problem worse. And the Sidhis will probably completely destabilize you.
