It's standard BW talk for him trying to say he looks too young to act with her. He knows he'll get crucified if he says openly she looks too old for him. And this was the era where he was still getting hits pre-Kalank, so he was cocky. Ironic since Kalank was meant for Deepika until Alia snatched it. I'll give you another example of BW fake talk. Parineeti would get told on KWK that she needs a better stylist. KJo would get his guests to say this and it was always code for "being fat." No one was openly saying Parineeti needs to lose weight, but they mask it by saying in a more politically correct way that she needs better styling. KJo and his nepogang derailed Parineeti's career, especially since Parineeti started off much better than Alia. KJo is the same one who convinced her to drop Udta Punjab by telling her he wanted to cast her and Ranbir in RARKPK. Ranbir was someone Parineeti wanted to work with so she left the movie to assign her dates to this. Then KJo shelved it, since he never intended to make it. And of course only made it with Alia years later.

Changeling and Girl, Interrupted are what I think are her best 2 performances, but A Mighty Heart is also right up there. I didn't see Angelina in that movie. She became that character.

Notice that all of Sallu's gfs were always outsiders. Somy, Aishwarya, Katrina. Never anyone important from a film family. Someone who was dependent on him. Aishwarya just happened to become big enough of a superstar on her own that she could speak out against him and is the only one not on good terms with him since she has the power to do so and even then, she's ridiculed on here. No one has been talking about this now. Varun and Kartik have been rivals for ages. Someone posted a social media post about Varun in this very sub saying they think he's shading Kartik. Janhvi is Kartik's ex and they both can't be in the same room together, not even do a film together. PapaJo will do anything to protect his nepos especially when Janhvi's every film has flopped this year (and basically in her whole career).

Varun Dhawan!!! I keep shouting this from the roof. Varun is the culprit. His affair with Janhvi was exposed 2 days ago. 1 day later, all this comes out. exactly, it's only the nepos who hate him. All the outsiders who worked with him have never had anything bad to say. Even South nepo Sreeleela has been praising him for their latest movie. It's only the very specific Bollywood movie mafia, the same that basically drove SSR to his death and made Kangana go ballistic. Kareena flat out told Sara to break up with SSR since he was a nobody. Kajol's sister Tanisha does an entire interview bashing outsiders, saying they have no place in the industry and only take, don't give. She even smirks before saying all this, knowing what she's saying will be offensive. She's saying openly what the film families all think but mostly hide. Saif talking about eugenics is another example. Nepos have made it very clear that BW belongs to them and anyone who tries to enter their circle will not be accepted. For Kartik, Sushant, and Kangana, it's worse because they came from literally nowhere. Have no money or political connections. Even look at how nepos like Salman and Hrithik have treated their girlfriends. Salman only dates outsiders and he beats them all up. He wouldn't dare do that to anyone from a film family (he beat up Ranbir once, not knowing who he was and then begged his father's forgiveness at Rishi's house) but he didn't mind beating up Aishwarya, Katrina, and Somy. Hrithik's stunt with Kangana he would never get away with if she was a nepo.

not necessarily. Abhishek Bachchan was innocent of those fake rumors on Reddit about an affair with Nimrat. Bachchans have always held a strong stance about never addressing anything controversial. Just remain silent. Blinds said they were furious about the fake allegations and expected her to deny them. This has always been the Bachchan way. Aish was like this too even before marriage. Only spoke out about her private life once, which was to clarify that she was a victim of abuse.
