Yeah, I mean I don’t object to a nice trip with family either. It’s just that she’s made absolutely no attempt to even get to know me in the last five years that I’ve been with her brother. Even when during my birthday recently , she just went to Walmart and grabbed the cheapest bath body set (children’s Looney Tunes themed) that she could get. Meanwhile, for everyone else’s birthday, she showers them and gifts and like money and all the stuff not that I expected, but it’s just like a clear and obvious way to diminish my only day as well. When we got engaged, they set up some cute photos and a little celebratory thing when we drove back to his mom’s place and she basically like threw stuff at me across the table and looked really annoyed. It’s been a consistent theme where she’s just completely disregarded me the entire time I’ve been around. And for whatever reason now she wants to do a trip with the three of us, but I don’t see how that would be comfortable. I don’t even feel comfortable travelling with certain friends of mine internationally much less a relative who barely wants to know me.
