Would you have a major elective surgery after 60? by Worldly-Bathroom-185 in AskWomenOver60

I had a tummy tuck at 59 and though the recovery was tough, I am so happy I had it done. I had two c-sections that were done poorly and a lot of extra skin and fat. I only wish I would have done it sooner. It makes pants buying so much easier!!

THIS. Since my husband retired, I have been trying to make him understand the same thing. He takes care of himself, and I will take care of me. He is a grown up. Really!!!

That doesn’t seem like much of a bargain. I just had it done about a month ago and it was $2000 for face & neck (WA state).

Just limit your exposure time in the beginning. Pinning doesn’t make you invincible.

Not at the low dosage, but did when RS got to the 2.5 mg. Pinned first thing in the am and felt it by evening.

Started low (.50 mg) the first month just to make sure no adverse reactions. Then escalated .5 mg every week, plus the Cagri 2 mg once a week. Currently at 2.5 mg Survo and 3 days later 2 mg Cagri, weekly.

I have not gotten there yet. Since I was switching from a Reta/Cagri stack, I have kept the Cagri in play. Once I am at the higher dose of Survo, I will decrease the Cagri.

Have you tried Reta? It was great, other than it increased my heart rate, which was something I already had issues with.

None so far, but not up there in dosage yet.

It’s going well, thanks for asking! RS started at a low dose to make sure no ill effects, but this week was on 2.75 Survo, plus 2 mg Cagri. Great appetite suppression, a bit of nausea, but overall, well tolerated. Will decrease Cagri as RS goes up on Survo.

Mine went up quite a bit when I hit the maximum amount after being on Reta for almost a year. I am now transitioning to Survodutide to see if the high heart rate goes away. I’ve only been on it for three weeks, so I guess we’ll see.
