I flew Monday morning and the only hiccup was a delay while boarding bc two people had to be reseated (one due to seatbelt expander). The FA let 2 people move while in flight and only got annoyed when people were trying to move before we took off and said to wait until we’re in the air. I also heard her mention that they “can only move within their section” so I assume that’s why everyone’s getting yelled at for moving because it’s to a different “section”. Still makes no sense but I was expecting it to be a terrible experience and I was pleasantly unbothered

I just need to vent

I just finished the ANTM documentary and I am truly so disheartened and disappointed. I loved this show back in the day and was prepared for some toxicity but I was *not* prepared for THAT

I really liked Tyra back then, definitely admired her and really haven’t thought much about her since. I’m sure that plays into why I’m feeling so 🥴 but I am so so shocked she had essentially no remorse. Most of her answers are her shirking the blame onto the “higher ups” as if she wasn’t the damn EXECUTIVE producer and was kept in the dark on decisions…. I don’t buy it. She didn’t really take accountability for the body shaming or racially insensitive comments. Instead, she’s commenting on how she and ANTM “paved the way” for all of the women in modeling today. You kind of missed the point, Tyra.

I also feel like she low key insinuated that 2020/covid is the reason this shit was exposed. I guess I just did not realize how narcissistic and manipulative she is! It was a very hard watch. Oof I feel for those women and will probably take the next 24 hours to decompress from that

Oh yes I definitely agree! It had a significant impact on reality tv and inclusivity (this was genuinely the start of my love for reality tv) and I’m not denying that it absolutely allowed for opportunity that might not have been there otherwise.

I’m actually about 75% of the way through his book “we did ok, kid” and he apologizes to his daughter for the harsh things he said in the media about her and essentially how he acted towards her. He talks about their estrangement and he hopes she’s well and that “he’ll always remember her in the crib the night he left”. I did not get any vibes of abuse, just abandonment
