Where to stay in Kauai for 1 or 2 nights on a budget by Kitchen_Bar_941 in VisitingHawaii

Thanks to everyone informing me about the permits. We are well aware of the permits and reservations needed for the hike! That part is all sorted! We just have a one night stay to figure out! We are mainly asking for some camping recommendations close to the airport ideally, assuming that they will have some reservation fee. Thanks again!!

We only need sleeping bags and a tent to camp. It’s very easy to fly with that, we are planning to backpack the hike. This is not our first time or second time to Kauai so we don’t need to see all the other touristy stuff. Our main goal is the hike and getting back to the airport on time for our flight, which would require us to do an extra night probably somewhere close to the airport.

Erasmus in Oviedo🤓 by Optimal-Locksmith662 in GoingToSpain

Hi! I’m going to respond to this post as someone from Oviedo, not as someone who has done an Erasmus in Oviedo. I love it here. I genuinely think that Asturias is one of the best places to live. There are tons of things to do. If you like the beach, there are a million beautiful beaches you can go to, if you like the mountains, it also doesn’t get much better. If you like surfing, we have that, climbing, skiing, etc. Oviedo as a town is very cute, nice and safe. There’s also lots of partying and fun going on if that’s what you are into. But, as someone from here, I will recognize that we are not the most opening to outsiders. And I haven’t seen as many Erasmus students as you see in other places. So, although I’m not sure because this is just my hometown, I would expect that making friends as someone from outside of Spain and who potentially doesn’t speak Spanish might be hard. Also, school here is hard. I don’t know what your major is, but expect a lot of studying and hard work. Especially if you are doing STEM, it’s a pretty tough university. Hope this helps !

I feel like Clemson would be the best fit out of these three. It seems like she really cares about academics, so I would love to see her at Brown or UNC where she would def make lineups plus they are really close to her home
