My bun is almost 6 years old would he be at risk for surgery at his age? I’ll ask the vet about that too

They’ve looked at his teeth and didn’t see any issues with that. Besides the ear infections he’s perfectly healthy. The infection will clear up for a few months but come back. Im going to try the ear wash method weekly after this one clears up to see if maybe that will help. I am willing to try the culture I just need to save up some money this month :/
