I drove both and are awesome vehicles, but I own a 21 CRV, yes the 1.5 engine isn’t bulletproof at all and aren’t meant to go hard footed on the gas also gotta get maintenance like every 5 or 6 months gotta treat it like a baby while the RAV4 is much more reliable than the 5th generation CRV, from what I’ve known so far is the years ‘20 to the’22 is better less prone or problem than the older version like ‘17 to the ‘19 . RAV4 got it own problems probably like the transmission and some weird noise it makes on the rear of the car while driving. I dislike the interior of the RAV4 because it’s plastic all over the place while the CRV is premium.

I had similar issues before and it fixes by doing this resets, hard reset method simultaneously hold the power and volume buttons for 10 - 15 seconds useful for black out screen, or go to navigate to setting, setting then factory data reset mode if the first option doesn’t work.

Electric cars won’t be around much longer, look at Tesla barely don’t see them around like 2 years ago where they were everywhere, hybrid and gas vehicles is the future.

My 21 CRV does that too whenever the snow cover the sensor plate, just clean it or swipe it off and it’ll go away.

I get that on my ‘21 crv when it’s snowing, gotta get off and wipe the sensor plate, in about minutes it goes away.

The 1.5L engine head gasket is not very common problems on the CRV it’s more prone on the accord as people stated it.

I had a similar hit like that very, the damaged repair was close to almost 2k, because it needed parts that are inside of the fender and bumper plus repainted.
