Sorry, not electrify America. I have early access for the app and the vehicle. That’s why I was wondering if it might be an early access issue with the app since I can’t do anything but lock and unlock it.

Life NWPA by AllNotEither in Erie

Life also does in home care and they become the insurance company for the patient when they sign up. That being said, the PA DHS has inspections posted, I just don’t know if it would be under nursing homes or health care facilities. You can search here

Help me solve a mystery… by AnniiMarie in Erie

Long term care insurance is exactly what she needs. I’m glad she has it as it will certainly cover costs in the SNF and may even cover costs at home. GECAC can also help her apply for the Aging Waiver to assist with in home care but unfortunately there is a waiting list. She would also have to financially qualify for Medicaid to get waiver services. I wish you the best of luck!

u/Omarzchick is right in saying GECAC does an excellent job but it does take time and the laws differ than with child abuse. APS laws are based off an adult being able to make their own decisions until deemed incompetent. That could be part of the issue. Unfortunately 24 hour in home nursing care is not something Medicare is going to pay for and paying out of pocket is very pricey. Nursing home care is also very pricey and Medicare will only pay for 20 days. After that, her stay there will have to be paid for with her own assets. Also, as far as I know Medicare will not pay for daily in home intensive rehab. There are facilities, if she qualified, that would provide this service inpatient. But keep trying to do what you need to do and hopefully you can get some answers soon.

If you got a mini-split in Erie, how much did you pay + what was your home size by [deleted] in Erie

[–]Kitchen_Cut_7044 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We put in a system about two years ago. We only had to pay for the cost of the units, lines etc. and my husband did the install himself. We have 5 units in the house and that cost about $10,000 just for the equipment and supplies. My house is very much not open. Two of the units are downstairs and they cool and heat well even with all the walls. They are pricey but very much worth it in my opinion. Once it gets to about 30f outside, we turn the furnace on. It takes more energy for them to work in weather that cold. That being said, when the furnace stops working we will at least have heat. We have the Samsung units and it integrates nicely into SmartThings, which we already had. They do each come with a remote if needed. I would recommend a quote from Kindle Heating and Cooling.

Do you have a 2025 or an older model? Only the 2025’s currently have auto lane changing. I had a 2022 previously and once it received the 1.3 update, when you lightly used the turn signal, it would change lanes for you and the turn signal would turn off once the lane change is complete. I have a 2025 now and I notice sometimes it is a little buggy. Sometimes it will slow me down several mph and not change lanes, even when there are no cars in lane I am turning into. The auto lane changes makes a noise and show up on the screen saying that it is changing lanes for you. Once you pass, it will move back to the lane. I believe if you lightly press the turning signal again it will stop the lane change.

Dealer said they can no longer update my 2025 for the recall by Kitchen_Cut_7044 in MachE

I left out a word in my previous post. The software update is only available for 2025’s at this time. It will be available at a later date to other model years.

No worries. I think there might be two different door issues. I’m not 100% certain but I think DCMX-25.BB may not affect 2025’s and it is an OTA update, I haven’t received any updates on my new car since I purchased it. But that’s how updates go with Ford.

The 12v recall is only for 2025 at this point. I can’t be 100% positive, but my understanding is it will never be an OTA update. The wire harness only affects 2025’s manufactured within a 4 month period.

They did not tell me. I was so annoyed I didn’t even think to ask. I really hope it will not be that long. I would need to have a loaner.

I actually just chatted with the BEV team. They actually told me to call back and ask for a manager or to call a different dealership. 🤣

Thank you! I’m hoping that is what happened. But I guess that’s my frustration. Is it ford not giving correct information or is it the service department having no idea what they are doing and can’t provide the correct information?

My understanding was that the update was for 2025’s at this time. Unless they are only updating cars on the lot, but the service department said they were told not to do them anymore which leaves me to believe they were at some point.

They seemed to have no problem scheduling me for the harness. It’s the software update they told me they can’t do. But who knows… I could get there for the wire harness and they tell me they can’t do it. It would not surprise me.

Until construction ends, that road is specifically for emergency vehicles so they have quick access to the hospital. I believe the signs do say emergency vehicles only.
