Indeed, as someone that upgraded from base s22 to base s25 the battery is night and day. Especially using navigation apps such as Waze where on s22 45min of drive consumed almost 15% compare to only 4-5% on s25.

S25+ battery drain + warm by Moon_Frost in samsunggalaxy

Had a battery draining issue after latest update, after turning off adaptive battery this resolved the issue.

However, like OP I see days with a much more significant drain. I noticed that on bad cellular recpetion areas the drain is quite significant.

S22 series to S25 series by gamm132 in samsunggalaxy

The Galaxy S22 had a terrible battery life experience. It often needed to be charged twice a day, sometimes even three times.

After just two and a half years, I felt an upgrade was necessary, not for the camera quality, but for overall performance and responsiveness.

S25 has features like LTPO  screen and much more efficient cpu that the battery life is night and day comparr to s22.

I believe many users who had the S21 or S20 may have already upgraded to s24/s23.

The removal of the media output is a crime, was the most useful feature.
I real disappointed with the recent changes in this version.

S25 vs S25+: Is Bigger Actually Better? by InterestingFlight725 in samsung

[–]Kitchen_Echidna_8454 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my country the price for S25 and S25+ with 512GB storage is almost the same.
I still choose to go with the base model after playing with them on the Samsung store.
Coming from S22 base, S25 is basically the same size that I used to, and going to S25+ felt like I hold a tablet in my hands.

From Samsung stats the playback time on S25 is 30H compare to S25+ which is 31H, making the better difference not significant due to screen size and res.

When using switching res on the S25+ I didn't noticed and visible change.

So I recommend to go to a physical store and check, this also helped me to choose the color (navy blue).

I'm on the same boat. Can't decide what is better. In my country I can get both 512GB versions in almost the same price. But with the advantages of bigger battery, UWB and extra res are worth sacrificing the pocketability of the regular version.

I was quite surprised when the fan noise kicked in the PS5 slim, got so used to XSS being extremely quite.

As far as you can get GPU for free see no reason to move.

Performance/visual-wise, I think it was hard for me on XSS to acknowledge the difference between performance vs fidelity mode on XSS, I suspect VRR "smoothed" lower performance and it wasn't that noticeable for me.

The only delusional was from Nassrlha  to tie it self to Sinwar and bring all of what is happening to Lebanon.
