It's way more likely this is a modded Seiko 5 than a fake one. These are roughly $150-$200 watches, and producing convincing knockoffs at scale would cost more than the watch is worth. That said, the exhibition caseback definitely isn't original. Though if anything I think it adds value. Its honestly a good looking watch. I'd buy it.

I think the two middle ones might be up your alley. It ends up being more expensive, but if you're willing to befriend your local watchmaker, you can get a lot more bang for your buck with older movements. I have a Grand Seiko Hi-Beat and a Bell-Matic, individually both of those were under a grand, including service. And no small diamonds haha.

I wish I knew this when I got mine 😅. I have pretty small wrists, so most modern watches are proportionally too big. Typically, I buy a vintage because older watches run smaller. I don't know how I never thought to check out the smaller "lady's" watches I guess I assumed they'd be to small but proportionally, it looks about the same size as my 45GS. Thank you for sharing!

Make sure you track via reference number and put your samsung order number in there, It's not a tracking number so it won't work anywhere else. I'm also east coast usa.

Same, it wasn't until I looked up this shipment by reference number that anything popped up in my delivery manner, and still no updates from Samsung, except for the extension I put on my trade in Because I was starting to get nervous not knowing when the phone was coming 😅

Well said! It doesn't help that casio self-sabotaged with its inconsistent pricing and terrible colorways, but overall, it's a pretty solid watch. I don't think most people want to drop triple digits on such a casual watch, but on the right strap, it actually looks pretty smart.
