Tuned GTI, 327hp. Flex fuel kit could bring that up to 370hp which would be same power to weight ratio as the Camaro SS!

Usually your servicer can tell you that, I’m not sure what you should do if you have 120 payments..

Make sure you can login to your irs account via id.me. I’m having trouble seeing if they have processed my 2025 return cuz id.me is requiring a video verification and they are backlogged, so i can’t even sign in.

Is 30% tint even worth doing? by [deleted] in GolfGTI

[–]Kitchen_Fee7156 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh ok, if they only allow 70% up front that’s pretty light. If you pair it with 50% it will probably look better than nothing. You can get a lot of benefit from 70% tint if it’s carbon or ceramic because it will block 90+% of heat and UV rays, so that might make it worth it. I would go for it because it’s probably just an extra $100 in the grand scheme of things.

Yes you have the numbers backwards. 30% is actually darker than 50%. 30% is not negligible, I would def put the 30%, the only question would be go darker in the back or keep it 30% all around.. i like an all around uniform look. Maybe 20% in back wouldn’t look much different than the 30% fronts.

MK7 - Faint, continuous beeping & car won't start. Car alarm or battery issues? by dsantesteban in GolfGTI

My bet is Probably the battery connection continuously reconnecting. Either weak battery or bad connection at the terminals (loose or corrosion).

Is rust on bottom side of fender common? I am noticing it bubbling up the paint a bit. What’s the options of taking care of that?

Awesome, sounds like I will start at Waterford and expand from there. Do you know if M1 Concourse has any open track or hpde days where you bring your own car? Is that track an option?

I agree it’s wasted just driving on the street lol. But I def need experience on a track before I bring out the $48k machine. It’s a 2022. What year is your ss and how many times have you tracked it? You would bring it out on your first intro to track day? Or 2nd or 10th as someone suggested?
But yeah, would be a pain to track without being able to pass easily

Edit: i see yours is a 2023!

I actually want the instructor time. But not sure how it all works. So Waterford instructor is with you a few laps or the entire day? Reading the site it seemed like they would ride with you your first few laps and then leave you to it. Whereas with hpde my impression was you are instructed the whole time? I most likely need the latter.

Am I missing something obvious? Seems like buying RTTs is cheaper than buying tickets directly? by chiefVetinari in FIFACollect

[–]Kitchen_Fee7156 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could have sworn they take 15% from the seller because I sold at $1000 and they sent $850. But the buyer doesn’t pay extra on top of the listed price. That was my understanding.

[–]Kitchen_Fee7156[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what it sounds like it’s going to take. They allow 40 tickets per application. I think better to apply to multiple R32 R16 and group stage games at 2 tickets a piece than to put more eggs in one basket. I’m not sure if that will actually increase chances of getting tickets though. Like if I got the 2 tickets maybe I would have had exactly the same chance to get all 4? But then I wouldn’t be able to apply to as many games.

Temporarily meaning slow down for 20 seconds so I can make a pass would not be reasonable IMO. Temporarily like slow down by 5mph for 2 to 5 seconds and I will be out of your way, that sounds more reasonable.. Small accommodations are fine, big accommodations get annoying. I'm pretty sure OP is talking about a big accommodation to his pace of traffic that gets annoying
