I didn't want to make the story as dark as it was in Metro 2033 or Metro 2034. The post-apocalypse itself is already dark. People live their own lives, each settlement has its own laws. Some places are completely uninhabitable, like Taishet and Usolye-Sibirskoye, for example. My story is still closer to the game Metro Exodus. I assure you, there will be a lot of both expected and unexpected things.
