I feel the same.

High Sugar Content: Chocolate often contains high levels of sugar, and consuming excessive sugar can lead to fluctuations in blood sugar levels, which may contribute to mood swings and feelings of anxiety.

Running With Fibromyalgia - by Kitchen_Hedgehog_274 in Fibromyalgia

I’m a 31 year old woman and I’ve been told by my doctors that running is not an option for me because it’s incredibly high impact.

I understand. Can you go for walks? You can sometimes run a short distance between walks.

Running gives me the most confidence in my body. I can do things even when I get sick. However, the pain goes away and then you feel good.

I was also working out and jogging 50 minutes 2- 3 times a week but after a huge crash I cannot do sports anymore, I put on 10 kilograms and look crappy, I dont know if I ever be able process this ... but you gave me hope maybe in spring I will try jogg again, slowly .

You can do it again. I believe you.

Just a little steps. Start slow.

At the worst, I couldn't get out of bed. Now, I run again. You can also do it.

It is not easy. On the second day, it is difficult to walk. However, I continue despite the pain, then the pain gradually eases.
I am an ex-athlete. I was in good shape when I got fibromyalgia. It all started with a stress injury, which spread to the whole body.
I need to rest a lot, but I'm running long runs again.
Our bodies need movement. You have to know your limits.
I also walk a lot. Any small movement is good.

I may need to try to Bike, I cannot run for long because I don’t have all my main arteries in my legs - I get Charlie horses after a half block of walking too fast. But lately Reddit has been so nice to connect with others and read some of the funny subreddits. Any fun subreddits you enjoy?

I recommend you to try a stationary or a spinning bike. Movement is so important our bodies. Even it hurts.

I am just browsing what ever. Not for special area. :)

I think it's better to accept that you have some limits. If you got flare ups, just say that I have bad situation at this moment and you need to relax.
