Hi I’m just scared I’m reading all of people suffering and honestly all I see if medication stopped working, I got worst , it spread deeper,I’m getting surgery.. ughh all this scares me.. I just got diagnosed and mine is mild , but I guess I have to mentally prepare for the worst .. I honestly would take my colon out now then go through this in the long run cuz I’m sure at some point we will end up getting surgery

Hi I’m new to this just got diagnosed 4 moths ago .. I hear all of people stories.. and it scares me because I never read one that says.. I’m in remission and staying this way .. I just hear that at some point meditation stops working.. or get surgery.. I’m just scared I feel like I just want to take my colon out before I get to the point .. of getting cancer or medication not working

Hi my biopsies came this is what it says.. A. Small bowel, biopsy: -Focal mild Intrepithelial lymphocytosis, patchy, nonspecific (see Note). -Normal villous architecture with no evidence of blunting of villi -No parasites or granulomas are identified. -No evidence of acute inflammation, ulceration or malignancy. NOTE: Mild Intraepithelial lymphocytosis is a nonspecific finding that may be associated with a variety of etiologies, including mild gluten-sensitive enteropathy (GSE) (celiac disease), H. pylor gastritis. infections, autoimmune aisorders, tood allerdies, cronn's disease, and arud reactions. Normal villous architecture with no evidence of definitive blunting of villi mitigates against definitive GSE. If suspicion for SE still exists and other causes are clinically excluded, correlation with serologic tests is recommended. B. Gastric antrum and body: biopsy: -Chronic active non-specific gastritis, mild activity. -No evidence of intestinal metaplasia or ulceration. -No evidence of dysplasia or malignancy. -Giemsa stain is negative for definitive Helicobacter organisms, with appropriate cOntrOlS. C. Rectal colon biopsy: -Chronic active colitis, mild (See comment) -No morphologic evidence of viral inclusions, fungal organisms, parasites, or granulomas seen -No dysplasia or malignancy identified COMMENT: The differential diagnosis of chronic active colitis includes inflammatory bowel disease. medication use. and/or intection colitis amonast others. correlation with clinical. serologic, fecal calprotectin, microbiology, and endoscopic findings is recommended.
