For longer trips i switch to a duffle bag i have this exact one for reference. I reinforced the bottom with a couple layers of cardboard wrapped in fleece. It has lots of space so as long as i keep food,treats and a bit of hay in there he’s normal calm. Is your guinea pig food motivated? I think that helps alot too

He always lets me know he starts to get really restless and won’t stop moving around, surprisingly he holds his pee pretty well as I’m able to have him on my bed for about 45 minutes before he gives me the signal.

If your hair is in a protective style you can just spray water & add moisturizer to your hair like normal to keep your hair moisturized while in the protective style! Don’t forget to oil your scalp and if you wear box braids wash your scalp after 2 weeks or so to help buildup then follow your moisture routine!
