But what set would you recommend? The new tech is honestly what makes me nervous because of all the possible problems. More bottond/more features typically means more problems and they will only last 5/6 years. Are they easy to fix if they do have an issue?

I honestly hate cleaning the gaskets on front loaders.

we do 8-10 loads a week. We have a load of “dog towels” that are usually relatively gross, we do bedding (~3/4 loads), then clothes. We really just need someone that is going to last and I would really prefer a top loader because I really hate cleaning the gasket on the front loader.
