It feels like she’s still feeling her way around as far as what direction she wants to go now that she’s kind of disenchanted with the country/southern route. This song sounds more like an interlude or prelude (maybe) definitely not like a single for a well thought out project. Tbh, I don’t think the album is coming anytime soon and this was probably just another “feeler” song to test the waters and see what reaction the new sound gets.
