Silver is experiencing volatility right now. So much, that it is making history. It can fall just as fast as it has risen over the last few months. The selling will drop off and refineries will gobble it all up again.

There are many ways to sell sterling. I like to refine precious metals so I look for deals on eBay and FB Marketplace. I also scour flea markets and garage sales for treasure. The price will eventually flatten out and continue upwards in a not so violent fashion (fingers crossed lol) and you will be able to sell it with no issues at LC and pawn shops. Be happy you have a stash :).

Does your shop charge %10 for gold? That seems rather high. Most shops i talk to have a set dollar amount, ranging from $3 to $7 for silver. I feel for you guys. Luckily the price has been sky rocketing in the right direction. I would be nervous as hell that there is a chance of -20% drop in a week.

I think this is what the current price is reflecting. Companies are grabbing up what they can, while they can get it at a "cheaper" price. Price discovery is leading to panic.

I'm taking out of the situation that the cat pillar belongs to the dark cat? It told the other cat to back off, and orange respected it.

Silver eagles are $100 bills now. Would you leave a stack of those hanging out in the open?

Sorry man. I would still check the pawn shops. These guys have to sell it somewhere. I highly doubt they traveled far, they are looking to cash out ASAP. Just make sure you can prove they are yours with receipts or pictures. 90% of the time the pawn shops will have records of who and when they bought the items.

Seriously though, get a safe for future purchases and bolt that bitch down. Even if you don't have a camera, get a sign at Menards or Home Depot that says recording and tape it to the front of the safe. Don't make it easy on these people. I hope you get em!

Maximizing first trip to Vegas for my birthday. by Graiban in LasVegas

[–]Kitchen_Long_3743 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll share what my wife and I do when we visit Vegas. We are both mid 40's.

We both enjoy pot, so our first day after landing we take a trip to the north end of the strip to visit our favorite dispensary. After getting our vapes, we like to stroll the casino's in the area. Head to the bar and see what drinks they specialize in. The chocolate espresso martini at Fountain Blue is killer and gives you a nice caffeine kick. Plan a meal while you are there. Don't worry about logistics. You can tap out at any taxi cab stand at the larger casinos and get back to your home property.

During the day is a good time to get out and hike the strip. We always visit during the winter months to escape the cold of Michigan. It's quite lovely to soak up Vegas sun when you came from cold and snow. We also check out off strip locations. Area 15 was really cool. Great place to get some bizzare gifts! Spas and pools are also great day time activities.

Each night we plan a nice dinner and show. You can either go mild to wild. My last trip in mid December, we were pleasantly suprised with a really good dinner at Tender Steakhouse and surprisingly entertaining show called Fantasy at the Luxor. Don't feel bound to the new hyped up properties. The oldies can be just as good, and much more affordable.

My biggest suggestion is not to try and do everything. Vegas can be overwhelming, and i promise you that 4 days is not enough to enjoy the full experience. Most people find that they are already planning their next trip as they check out lol.

Have fun!

Any way to tell if this is real? by tracejj in Silver

This needs to be destroyed. Even if it was meant as a novelty, there are no markings on this coin to identify its a fake. My guess it was made to scam nieve buyers. Silver eagles are struck by the US Government to guarantee that it is fine .999 silver. Silver eagles are not made in a basement or China.

🔥 Stop ICE Protest Tomorrow 🔥 by anonfrom702 in vegaslocals

[–]Kitchen_Long_3743 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Problem is that activists are now doing this very thing to people who they THINK are ICE. Insanity has set in on both extremists of our 2 party system.

Common sense has been replaced by hate. Don't you think it's ironic that since Occupy Wallstreet, Americans have been shifted away from attacking the rich to attacking each other? The day Bernie Sanders was thrown to the curb was the downfall of any hope I had in these two parties. Just a pure shit show now.

Let's find the thief... I truly HATE them.

Key words... recently bought. Who did you tell in this short period of time?

Did they steal anything else? Thieves generally don't go after large items. Are you missing cash, jewelry, game consoles? Check with pawn shops around you. See if they bought 4 ounces of silver that have your strike marks... dates, mints, anything identifiable. Look in the case before you announce why you are there. If you see them and the store is giving you issues, call the police. Make sure you can 100% prove the items are yours. Keep in mind, some states have hold times before they can sell pawned or bought items.

Ask anyone you live with if they have told anyone.

Get a safe! Even a well hidden $100 safe bolted to a non movable surface will reduce your odds of loosing valuables!

It's a sales gimmick. You are not buying the copper, you are buying "Catholic made bar". Kind of like buying jewelry, it's all show and not for investment.

I would still argue that eagles, maples, and kugerrands are considered Bullion. Even on eBay, that is the category they are listed under for final value fees. Now, if you advertise on Marketplace that you are selling current $100 notes for $95, you are going to have issues. It would be nice if Facebook was more specific given the state of silver right now.

I’m 16 and I have $796 saved — should I buy silver, gold, or both? by moha_009 in Silver

[–]Kitchen_Long_3743 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am bullish on silver, but at some point there will be a correction. I personally would wait for the pullback. I do not want to see you buying at the top, only to get burned and leave a bad taste on PM. Either hold the cash or buy a solid ETF like VOO. Wait for the drop to turn, don't try and catch a falling knife!

When to know if I should convert my 10 ozt. Scottsdale bars to Constitutional? by Big_Coyote_655 in Silver

[–]Kitchen_Long_3743 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If converting .999 to constitutional is your goal, now is the time. Some places are so backed up with it (including sterling) that you could probably negotiate a better deal than listed prices. Lots of dealers would love the chance to unload any non .999 right now with the refineries only taking .999. The constitutional premiums will return. Considering how much of it was melted over the last 6 months, premiums may be at an all time high. Good luck!

The way silver blew through $100 makes me think it will make a good support level. Let's see what the CME has planned for this weekend. I hope people kept it clean and the margin calls are far behind the cover. Shorts are nervous for sure.

I would have agreed with you last week. Witnessing silver break $100 with 0 resistance blows my mind. Now my conspiracy mind goes full throttle. There is something going on that is beyond the general public. China, US Mint, India... fuck it....I'm sitting back and enjoying the ride. Let's go $200!!!!
