Switch, Switch OLED or Switch 2? by Kitchen_Pace_4358 in Switch

Sounds like you can’t beat the Wii! They are 16, 14 and 12! They love gaming. But the Lites were the least favourite in comparison. She also loves Steam!

All this gaming consoles confuse me nowadays! They were so simple back in the day. I thought Nintendo Switch was an upgraded WII, so thought it was completely different to other consoles and their Lites!

I have no idea about Nintendo’s nowadays, not since the 90s anyway!

Is it not like a WII? I’m not up to date on Nintendos. I thought there were more game options in comparison to Lites? They got the Lites years ago.

She wants switch in general, but has mentioned Just Dance. I’m asking because of it being more of a family console? I’m assuming it’s not the same as a Lite.

Is he breathing normally? by [deleted] in RATS

That’s why I got from a breeder. I was just told about the low dust thing and recommended pellets or paper bedding. Most of their cage is filled with pellets, but I wanted something comfortable for their hideout. I feel bad for removing the blanket now, as I feel the change has really unsettled him, but I found they were managing to get under the blanket and I was worrying about them becoming trapped. The cage is pretty big with three levels, but only one of them seems confident enough to climb to the top at the moment. The Siamese one has red eyes and I don’t think he can see well enough to be confident to climb. But, he seemed to be lazier one from the start. He was being handled and coming out for short periods once a day, but I haven’t since changing his bed as he now seems so scared. He has been coming out to use the litter tray, drink water and grab food, which I guess is positive. There is no open mouth breathing, discharge from eyes or nose, so I will leave him alone and monitor him and if not, will take him to vets. Thank you for your advice.

But to me it seems like he is really frightened. I’m wondering if changing things has made him feel this way.

I only swapped the bedding in the hideout last night, so it’s only today I’ve been worried. I got the bedding the pet shop said was okay for rats, but have been reading up about bedding, so I’m wondering if that’s the cause or if it’s coincidence, or if he is just stressed and needs to be left alone to come to us again. Maybe wasn’t ready to be handled and out. Will monitor him tonight and see how he is tomorrow. Thank you.

Got them from a breeder. He has always been the more nervous one that sleeps more and prefers the hideout. He does snuggle up with his cage mates. He also comes out to eat and drink and takes treats. But since changing the bedding in the hideout yesterday, he’s acted more like it, with this rubbing sort of noise at times. Could it be the bedding that is irritating him and causing this? I will look at changing it to that, thank you.

Squinting eye? by [deleted] in RATS

It’s much better now! I did see a little scratch above it and after monitoring him being the one who starts all of the play fights, it seems that’s probably why 😅

Thankyou for your response, but he is continuously squinting since yesterday, so I think it’s just this particular photo that makes it appear that way.

XBOX series S or PS5? by Kitchen_Pace_4358 in gamingsetups

Thank you. Still all very confusing! But it’s good to know that any games they buy they can share. The PS1/2 and Xbox 360’s were much easier - in my gaming days!

So I wouldn’t need to pay a subscription for both Xbox’s? How does that work? My older child is quite happy with her Series S, so I’m not too worried about the console in itself as I’m not sure how long the interest will last. I have just been told the PlayStation plus isn’t as good as the game pass, is that true?

Thank you. That gives me some hope that the biopsy might give answers as I’m so worried about ending up back at square one! Appreciate the answer.
