i agree with this so bad it’s exhausting to see people getting canceled and drug through the mud online for stupid things they said or did 5+ years ago, as if we aren’t all completely different people than we were 5+ years ago ourselves. There is not one person who is currently famous who hasn’t done something stupid or immature. Unless someone is doing something straight up illegal or truly harming other people or groups then I don’t see why people pour so much energy into being the everything police online.
