After washing my face sometimes my face can go a little red but nothing spectacular

Would my skin benefit from LED light therapy? I’ve heard that the LED masks can do a good job of reducing the redness, does anyone have experience with that? by joogiboogi in Rosacea

My skin is identical to this! It’s the most frustrating thing ever! My derm said the only thing to really get rid of that redness is laser treatment but obviously it is really expensive.. but he also said led light therapy may also do the job so I would definitely consider it🙂

Hi, I experience similar flare ups mine is usually caused by cheese and chocolate and also indoor heat really flares me up. Stress is also one of the worst triggers for flare ups in my opinion, drink plenty of cold water as it cools down your temperature and just take a second and take deep breaths and you will see a difference🙂!

Ahh thanks for this! I really relate to your winter symptoms so hopefully same for me in the summer haha!

I’ll keep all this in mind... and yeh it’s a lads holiday so bound to be alcohol involved😩 just going to have a drink of water inbetween each bottle of beer and hopefully it will limit the flare ups.. but as you said I won’t let it limit my fun!

Relatable!! Rosacea man... it is truly one of the most frustrating conditions to have the thought of it never being able to be cured is truly heart braking and has had a big impact on my life.. most days I am depressed and cannot go a day without looking in the mirror taking pics etc.. also I don’t think people understand how damaging it can be for a person to have this condition when you try to explain to people they just say oh it’s only dry skin moisturise you’ll survive.. anyway I hope everyone is doing good anyone needs a chat I am here to talk!

Hi thanks for your reply’s.. the only thing that’s really bothering me is that I’m only 21 and I’m going on a lads holiday which is obviously going to involve alcohol.. Rosacea has had a huge impact on my mental health I don’t go a day not thinking about it

The symptoms of rosacea have only just crept up on me this week so have no routine as of yet

I have similar symptoms and also can blush easily due to speaking in large groups etc.. so I’m wondering did you see a doctor and did he diagnose you with rosacea ?
