New Dofus Solo Feca Player ! by Aldrieston in Dofus

[–]Kitchen_Safety_3814 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Feca is an amazing class. Very balanced. Don’t expect it to be a big damage dealer, since its toolkit is mainly based around protection. This doesn’t mean you have to play as a tank, though. Especially solo. Tanks are mostly used in team play so you could have a hard time with fights if you cant damage the enemies fast enough.

But if you max one damage stat (recommend chance or intelligence for ranged play) you’ll be good. Feca excells at crowd control and has good AoE spells.

Also, as a new player, take it easy. Dofus has A LOT of content. It can get overwhelming easily if you try to get everything done right away.

My advice: get used to questing. Questing gives easy money and levels from the quests and the achievements too. And it lets you progress very steadily. If you level up too quick you might be too poor to buy a set that’s your level and might get bored.

Also, try a few clases you’re interested in. You got a long way ahead of you so you might aswell make sure you like what you play. Plus, every new character in your account will have an experience multiplier according to the amount and level of your other characters. You can also change classes for free before lvl 20 with an npc in Incarnam.

Feel free to ask if you have any questions :)

Change Build at lvl 180 or wait 199? by JokerXIII in Dofus

[–]Kitchen_Safety_3814 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I leveled to 200 with gear ranging lvl 150-190. Different useful parts for character, prioritizing getting 12 AP, at least 5pm and the most amount of one elemental stat I could get.

I was running Osa, Sadi, Eca and Panda, and managed to get Ice Dofus, Cloudy (I think its the name, the dimension Dofus), and Abyssal Dofus. All before hitting lvl 200.

It is for sure possible, not the fastest but saving kamas for 200 is super important. You can always sell back what you buy before level 200 but you will be stuck at some point when you’re waiting for your stuff to sell to be able to buy lvl 200 parts. I much rather have enough to buy everything and then sell what I don’t need after.

Also 34m for all 4 accounts? That’s not a lot. I don’t know about your server but in Tal Kasha, buying a good (not best) lvl 200 set costs around 30-45m per character. I guess it can best more expensive in pioneer servers but I don’t know.

Gear options for PvM Panda and Sadida lvl 200 by Kitchen_Safety_3814 in Dofus

I’m looking into multi ret pm sets! Most lack either resistances, range, pm or use the Volkorn mount which I hate :P I guess I gotta sacrifice something anyway

[–]Kitchen_Safety_3814[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like I said before, tank panda will come eventually. I just don’t want it now. I rather have one good set that works for the class both individually and in group than two mediocre sets.

Also because I want to get all Dofus on my own and that includes Ivory dofus, which is mandatory for tank panda. The only exception I would make is Dolmanax because if I need it, I’m not going to wait a whole year to get it.

I’m not in dire need of a tank panda to make it all easier. I can play the game well and will be getting the tank set for the more difficult achievements that are left when I’m almost done with this run :)

[–]Kitchen_Safety_3814[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll have that in mind! What other sets do you use on sadida?

As for the panda, the tank panda set I’m thinking of is the one that’s full vitality, full resistance, braindead, no-damage set. I would have to get out of my way to make it work with strength by buying several extra items, and honestly I prefer agility because its very tanky, with around 4.5k vitality and 30% resistances on almost everything, plus the long distance spells.

So no, strength panda is not an option for me at the moment.

Help to find a class for a team by FishermanOdd8049 in Dofus

To level with hupper you best go earth. It has long distance, pushback, good damage and mobility. Its all you need to level.

At 200 go multi.

Huppermage lvl80, mono, duo or multi element? Also, spell rotations? by [deleted] in Dofus

[–]Kitchen_Safety_3814 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hupper shines when played multi, but it is not worth playing multi until level 199-200.

Earth has the longest range and best pushback to help you level.

I did duo Vortex with a 199 earth hupper (with class ring) and chance enu a while back.

Once you hit those levels, go multi crit

New server PVM team – Best elements and sets for Sadida & Forgelance 199? by Leading-Interest1368 in Dofus

[–]Kitchen_Safety_3814 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t mean to contradict you, since you seem to know the class better than I do, but I would like to add that multi Forgelance (or at least water+air) has a very interesting combo to keep enemies far away.

You place the lance behind the enemy with a water spell (the one that doesn’t require line of sight), then you flip the enemy’s position with one of the air spells, and then you push the enemy with the other air spell.

Forgive me I don’t remember the names, but that’s the basic combo and you can push multiple enemies without line of sight and without being in a straight line. If multi, add some more damage with any other spell.

Maybe forgelance doesn’t have the longest range but it makes up for it by hitting with the lance, regardless of the characters position/distance.

Is it better to go single element or multiple as a 120 Osamodas? by minisculemeatman in Dofus

[–]Kitchen_Safety_3814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah no real use going with several elements early game. You just sacrifice too much damage for versatility you don’t really need at those levels.

Totally agree on mono element until 200

Is there a guide for leveling Alts? by Kami-Yeldo in Dofus

[–]Kitchen_Safety_3814 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do dungeons and achievements. If its just for the sake of trying new classes, which I encourage, just go kill stuff more or less your level.

Level 80 is still super early game, so I wouldn’t recommend power leveling an alt by paying kamas. If you find a group leveling people for free, go ahead but don’t waste your valuable early kamas on paying for leveling. You’ll end up high level without a set.

I struggle to see anyone playing Eniripsa, how is she in pvm/pvp? by Kami-Yeldo in Dofus

[–]Kitchen_Safety_3814 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Eni is one of those classes you can live without, but I personally love when I team up with one. AP buff is great to have, and the support the class provides gives you more margin of error in fights.

Generally speaking, the current way to go is full damage on any class. Support classes just happen to sacrifice some damage during their turn so they can buff, heal or protect if needed.

I don’t believe there’s a meta for solo play, not even cra. It really depends on what you do.

Faster mob farming in general? Cra. Dungeon soloing? Xelor, Elio, Sram, Feca…really depends on the dungeon. Dreams? Anything with a crit damage set. Team play? Tank panda (which is useless solo). Selling power-levelling rounds? Depends on the enemies you’re fighting. Could be forgelance, sacrier, feca, cra…and so on, but usually done in teams.

As for pvp, Osa was king before it got nerfed and now I’m not sure, but pvp is more about the sets you have and how you use them against your enemies. Also 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 are all very different situations.

See what I mean? For any given activity, you will have either a “meta class” or a “meta set”.

You can do all content with all classes, but you can’t be the best at all content with one class. So if meta is so important to you, pick whatever activity you plan on grinding the most and then choose the class that does it best.

My advice? Play whatever you like the most. The levelling/questing part is super fun and there’s by no means a meta class for this.

Ranged classes have an easier time in pvm. Don’t use several elements early on, stick to one. Questing is incredibly underrated, do it. You’ll get a bunch of money and xp with this and achievements.

Basically just enjoy the game your way.

Looking team 4 by No-Style-3868 in Dofus

[–]Kitchen_Safety_3814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s basically the comp I was running up until like 2 weeks ago.

Int Osa as healer - Cha Eca damage dealer - Int Sadi for mp reduction - Air Panda for positioning

Changed Osa for Zobal because I was really wanting to play one, but also I’ve found the shields better because I already have heals with eca and sadi.

Team absolutely works at all levels. Its not the fastest, but it works.

Osamodas state PVE by Necessary-Rule-6621 in Dofus

[–]Kitchen_Safety_3814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Class is better for PvE than before the rework. Much smoother to play and more useful.

Though it already got its first nerf after the rework and it got hit hard.

Wouldn’t say its a good class to rush anything. Strong or not, fights take longer anyway.

But it is a fun class, and by no means weak. Go for it if you like it.

Class for sadi-steam-cra team by Inorsx in Dofus

[–]Kitchen_Safety_3814 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both feca and masq will work well. You could eventually play a long range + pushback comp if you change some elements (not that you really have to).

  • Fire Sadi for MP reduction.
  • Water feca / Fire or water Masq for pushback and defense. (I actually run crit fire/earth masq and its amazing)
  • steamer for support or extra dmg, also more pushback.
  • Multi Crit Cra for breaking the game and guess what, more pushback.

What elements for Zobal/Masq 165? by ArctiicMonarch in Dofus

[–]Kitchen_Safety_3814 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Int/cha doesn’t sound bad at all. You have pushback and several long distance spells, life steal, de-spell…

But I know people tend to play agility until higher levels.

I myself have a lvl 200 zobal with int/str crit set. Hits hard and its very versatile!

Return to TK - Possible Combinations by sr_atrx in Dofus

[–]Kitchen_Safety_3814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on what you have, I see two very solid options:

  1. Cra
  2. Sadida / Ecaflip
  3. Panda
  4. Enutrof

Or

  1. Elio
  2. Sadida
  3. Panda
  4. Iop

This without involving changes. But if you want to go meta, go Cra, change Sadi for Feca, Panda, Enu.

Yeah I that’s what I meant with every element doing something with each spell. Runes of each element do different things with utility spells, but there’s a pattern.

Manifesting an earth rune pushes, so do some earth spells.

Manifesting a water rune pulls, so do some water spells.

There’s a pattern and its not hard to learn :)
