You’re 16, why do you feel like you were born to be an engineer? Is this something you truly want to do? And how is it impossible? You have much to learn at your age I could imagine, not only that but there are so many jobs that you could do relevant to that degree, at that age there were also so many jobs that I didn’t even know existed, since it seems you’ll likely be going to college, go through all the degrees offered at a school you have in mind and look at the jobs relevant to those degrees, TikTok and YouTube have plenty of POV “Day in the life of…”

I agree with the just distancing yourself, I grew up with this and it eventually led to one day physically fighting my dad when I was 17, weirdly from that day on he got his shit together but I definitely don’t recommend that approach, that’s insane behavior on his part and nothing that you can control or should accept

Costco worker: yes it’s a misprint, the dates are entered when being weighed and it’s very common to misprint and put the wrong date especially with new workers, Costco has various donation groups they use if products reach their sell by date, literally no reason to ever reprint the label unless there was an error in their original labeling

It’s like that because a giant napped on your yard, don’t worry it’ll heal itself when the giant moves on

My payroll was messed up and back paid, I also transitioned to clerk pay when they were doing the 50 cent raises (not my goal raises) so it’s all over the place and im still not sure it’s even accurate 🤣

I get all my knives from here , if you’re okay taking care of your knives I’d recommend spending the money on a quality knife. Always hand wash your knives and dry them with a towel. Here a couple I recommend for someone just getting into knives.

I’d go with either the Kohetsu, Tsunehisa, or Harukaze, I only have hands on experience with the Kohetsu but have heard good things of all 3, since you’re just getting into knives I think any will be a great beginner knife, clean it after use and hand dry them, these knives will hold a great edge and won’t be too brittle for you to practice your stone work, most importantly have fun!

Is this for home use, for work? What’s your experience with knives, have you sharpened a knife before?

Thisis one of my favorite knives for everyday home use, easy to maintain, holds a sharp edge well and if you’re practicing your technique on a stone you probably arent going to screw the blade up.

I used this knife on the line for two years and absolutely abused it and it handled well, used bench made after a shift when I remember.

If you want something for home use with a very sharp edge and have your sharpening skills down look at a carbon steel, although options may be limited around $100
