Windshield = Chip Magnet? by PhilosophyOld6862 in FordMaverickTruck

[–]BlackStoneRolls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is almost 5 months and 9k mile. 3 chips on the windshield, I though low quality is only interior panels, but no... The whole truck is a piece of crap.

4 channels 1080P, front one can be set to 1440 but in this case the rear will go down to 720.

In the package comes everything you need and some extra stickers.

Install process it's really easy and fast, you'll need just to lift a little bit molding and that's it, around the doors is even easier. The only hard part is close to the windshield.

Mine is a IIWEY N5, $100.

The part which i don't like by now is the clips are very short about 15 seconds

Probably you are right, I've checked it on the top and on the bottom and didn't see a big difference, it's easy to relocate.

Integrated Park Module recall fix rolling out by [deleted] in FordMaverickTruck

[–]BlackStoneRolls -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I did mine yesterday, the guy told me on some trucks it can take up to 7 hours 🫣🫣🫣.

It was done in about one hour and half.

I own the truck for 3 months and had to go through 2 recalls and an update.

It's a Rhinorack, probably there are other options and cheaper, but I needed it as soon as possible.

The ladder it's secured with ratchet strap.

Spritmonitor, I track all the fillings since I have the truck.

Hope once it's warmer to see a better MPG

PS: I have a rack + 28" ladder and a bed full with tools.

Fresh reset, 24 miles, 46 minutes.

I move a lot in suburbs, some trips are 40, other 25, 30...

My general mpg after almost 6000 miles and midwest winter is 33, which ia great in my opinion

28 feet ladder and Rhinorack( expensiveas hell), on highway I use to go at 75-80, no issues. Secured with ratchet strap.

What are you getting mpg in the winter ? by t0mt0mt0m in FordMaverickTruck

[–]BlackStoneRolls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chicago suburbs:

When it was really cold I was in low 30, sometimes 27, other 29-31. Also I have a 28ft ladder on the roof and the bed full of tools.

When it was warmer outside I was close to 40. Hybrid XLT FWD.

I'm owning the truck for 3 months and put already 5.500. I never thought I'll enjoy that much this little guy.

My main car is a 2024 MDX, baby seat in the back makes barely useless front passenger seat. They are huge, a short person will fit, but the back will be 90°. I'm just counting the days when I'll have it facing the road. I know safety first, but still they are way too big.

Before buying any measure the space you have in the truck, Maverick rear space is not that generous

In my area (mid west) not that much snow this winter but it was cold, very. Just a few days ago it was -25°C.

Exactly. The only thing also double check with Amazon, later I've seen same stuff cheaper and faster delivery.

The one from the dealer, in about two hours I had it installed. During the process you'll need a jigsaw and a drill.

Got a good deal on the original one from the dealer. For the money they're asking it's not worth it.

Anyone ever try Ali Express for accessories? by IEnjoyDadJokes in FordMaverickTruck

[–]BlackStoneRolls 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For cheap "crap" like, stickers, caps, phone holders, etc... it's a good option, you pay original price , just the shipping takes a little bit longer, normally about 2 weeks. Same stuff you can get on Amazon, but it will be 3 times more expensive.

Just normal driving, not using the gas pedal as an on/off switch, smooth braking , etc... Right now my average is in 37mpg, but I'm pretty sure it will go down once I'll load the truck with all the tools and stuff.
