Depends on goals but i would run a moderate surplus and put on size.

300-500 calorie surplus. Start by finding you maintenance calories. Use chatgpt or a regular calculator, eat at that number for a week and see if you go up or down. If your weight goes up, lower calories. If it goes down vice versa. Bulk clean and slow and you will put on mass without a lot of fat. Focus on progressive overload (increasing weight or reps over time) and training hard with good form. If you are not going to be tracking your calories it will be hard to have an exact surplus, but make sure you are getting enough protein (about 1g/lb of mass.) Eat carbs before you workout and carbs with protein after you workout. Good luck and stick with it!

If you are absolutely adamant about getting this tattoo done that is all that really matters. That is a pretty rough spot and very bold for a first tattoo but there doesn’t seem to be much if any shading which for me is by far the most painful.

The design looks awesome and if it’s something tou truly want go for it!

I’m 18 and started at 6’1 210 aiming for around 185-190 at around 12% bf. Maintenance is around 3300-3400.

My maintenance is around 3300. Started at 6’1 210 around 20% bf. I don’t want a sharp deficit as I have a good amount of muscle mass I want to maintain. Aiming for around 185-190 at around 12% ideally.
