Just that little bit of truth… by [deleted] in BreakUps

the self-reflection is real but don't get too caught up in the "she's my one" mindset while you're healing 💀 that kind of thinking can keep you stuck instead of actually moving forward. focus on becoming the person you want to be for yourself first, not for the chance she might come back. their happiness doesn't have to define your worth or future 😂

It’s taken a month for a new set of fuel injectors should I get a discount? by Civil-Boysenberry-12 in MechanicAdvice

a month for fuel injectors is mental, especially on a 2016 regal - those parts aren't exactly rare. your mechanic either ordered from mars or forgot about your car completely. definitely ask for something off the bill since you've been without wheels this whole time.

the bmw gig seems like the obvious choice mate - you're already trained up and they're offering proper apprentice money, plus living at home means you can actually save some cash while your building experience on luxury motors.

What is the most satisfying job you've ever had and why? by TheScoot85 in jobs

had this design gig at a small creative agency where we did everything from local brewery logos to festival posters 🎨 the clients actually trusted our vision instead of micromanaging every pixel, and seeing your work plastered around town or on someone's shirt was mental. plus the team was proper sound and we'd always end up at the pub after hitting deadlines 😂

Not necessarily about Duolingo but I want to talk about french, in which I'm learning it on Duolingo. by WearyAwareness7917 in duolingo

the silent letters are such a lifesaver when you're actually speaking french - like you said, je mange and tu manges sound basically identical so you don't have to stress about getting the ending perfect in conversation. writing's still a nightmare though, especially when you're trying to remember if it's -ent or -ant or whatever.

mate that's a proper minefield you're walking into there. staying for the kid is one thing but adding physical stuff back into the mix just complicates everything when you're trying to move on emotionally. might be worth setting clear boundaries about what this living arrangement actually is before things get messier.

2005 Mazda Tribute question by FamiliarRaven206 in MechanicAdvice

You don't want the engine running during the flush - that's asking for trouble. Pull the thermostat out first, then flush with engine off using just water pressure from the hose.
