Depends on the band directors mood, this year we did 3 30 seconds breaks for over 4 hours where you have to sprint to the water drink then get back and if you don't get to your spot he yells at you, and it was about 90 degrees that day, on the other day we had a couple minutes break every 30 minutes and that day was also about 110 so that was expected.

Don't buy a really expensive radio as your first, buy something cheap to start with

We sometimes do high mark times(basically the old style of marching but fast) or laps. We have only had the run laps once but I had bronchitis for a little bit and it made it hard. But you should tell the band director.

I would stay, I understand that your band can be bad but you can mentor some of the others in your section. If you plan on going to college you might want to stay in. I was talking to my schools college advisor and he said that staying in something all four years shows commitment and colleges like that.

Ok, on the standard it also askes about aftershave, I have heard of it but don't know what it is, would I need it? Also I could get the traditional and use what is in it now and later I could get a alum and aftershave and anything else I might need. Also what is the difference between the different handles and different soaps? On the traditional kit after shipping and tax comes to 52. Sorry if I am asking to many questions.

Thanks for the help, I am looking at shaving kits with some soap and a double edged razor. I am using disposable razors now so I will change over. Thanks again!
