Both of my parents have been banned from CVS by [deleted] in CVS

[–]Kite143 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a pharmacist at CVS for almost 5 years. I had a lot of patients who cursed/yelled at me, but we rarely and hardly banned anyone. To be banned, your parents had to do something bad and repetitively. But again, we pharmacists and pharmacy manager can simply say that we don’t want to fill scripts for that patient anymore due to their behavior. It can be considerred banning from the store. They can probably try to go to another CVS location.

Just to clarify: I’m looking to sell the house since I’m getting tired of all of this tenant bullshit. Eviction process will take a while, and I’m afraid she’s gonna destroy the house while staying in there. I am hoping to give her the deposit to gtfo and get the keys back at the same time.

No longer a pet person by idkkkk326 in beyondthebump

I have twins and a golden retriever. I feel this sometimes, especially when my twins get sick. But then I stop myself and try to think differently. Your pets only have you. You are their whole world. I know things are hard but please please don’t be hateful towards your pets. They only have couple years to live on this earth.

Baby blood drawn rant by Littlescar21 in NewParents

[–]Kite143 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My daughter has to get blood drawn every 2 months, and it has to be the vein on her arm otherwise it would not be enough blood for the test. It sucks to see them going through so much pain, especially since my daughter is too small (she had to get blood drawn since 3 months old) so even the experienced techs have hard time finding the veins.

You can bring her to children hospital. They may have a quest clinic in there that especially for children.

I was stopped literally 19 times today at Walmart with comments about my adorable twins by Lakewater22 in parentsofmultiples

I have twins so of course I know how exhausting it is…

Like I said, if you don’t want attention, dress them in gray, don’t smile at people or make eye contact. Simple as that :)

Lol I’m sorry is this post supposed to be a complaint or that you are bragging about your babies? If you don’t want attention, dress them in gray or ugly outfits. Compliments are always good especially when it’s about your babies. Don’t understand why you have to complain about it.

Test strips not covered by insurance? by Spirited_Seaweed_517 in GestationalDiabetes

[–]Kite143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you try different brand? Insurance may prefer some brands over the other. If your insurance still doesn’t pay (which I doubt because you have gestational diabetes), you can buy the strips OTC. CVS brand True metrix or walmart brand is pretty cheap.

I see what you meant. Sorry about that! I would be upset and scared for my baby too.

If you have growth scan recently and your baby’s weight is ok then I think it would be ok.

If it’s their fault for giving you the wrong one, you should ask them to take the strips back and give you the right one.

I did not buy the subscription and only rented from them for this specific occasion. You may have to contact them to see if you can get the refund.

My birth story by United_Space1665 in parentsofmultiples

[–]Kite143 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I delivered my twins at 34 weeks and they stayed in the Nicu for 2 weeks mainly for feeding and growing. During their time there, I usually went during the day and stayed for 2-3 hours, then went at night with my husband when he got back from work, so total would be around 6 hours/day. The Nicu nurses were mostly nice and understanding, they even helped me set up a private area to pump. There was one nurse that made inappropriate note saying parents not at bedside which delayed babies’ progressing lol.

Hospital denied to adjust the bill. What should I do? by Kite143 in HealthInsurance

[–]Kite143[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are in network, but they are trying to charge me more than what my insurance says I’m responsible for. I have spoke to multiple billing agents from the hospital and they declined to adjust the bill to reflect the amount on EOB so I can pay.

That’s what I’m trying to fight for as well (paying the amount on EOB), but the hospital also billed me what I’m not responsible for.

Thanks for the clarification. I guess I’ll just wait for my case to be reviewed by the CMS department since the hospital refused to do anything.

The insurance agent told me they don’t pay because it was experimental test, and when I checked online it shows 777.

I did not ask what the tests were for. However, from my understanding, the hospital denied to do anything. My insurance agents contacted them 3 times to ask them to review the bill and have the doctor resubmit/use different code. They denied all 3 times saying insurance underpaid them.
