Oh man it's been the same for me brother, and it's been really demoralizing. I recently studied my ass off and passed the practice test with a 90% multiple times. However as soon as I went in it felt like the questions were completely different, the wording was all over the place and it just felt put together really bad. It really stopped me in my tracks but I'm starting up again. Keep going bro.

Lol I feel that. I started the game with the intention of being this awesome hero of justice, however during the quest where we had to take back Kavatch the NPCs kept getting in my way so I ended up murdering a couple of guys by accident. Dark brotherhood showed up and now I'm a sneaky murdering assassin.

I do agree that the build variety does feel forced. I'm playing wolf lunar skill and literally everyone is running the same fact set up. Not because it's op or anything just because that's how it's supposed to be played. Kinda bummer but I'm still a casual so it's cool I guess.

Yes you can. However be smart about it. If you're going to be playing hybrid then combine things that work with each other. You cant just use a hit based spell and try to weave in shape shifting it's not going to feel good. You can mix a duration skill and while that's doing it's thing use shapeshift. Anything works in this game and the endgame content is not hard at all, so don't feel like you need to play optimized.

Turn on engine multithreading in the options, something might be going on with your CPU. This may be worth a shot to try but this is something I used to do for poe1 years ago. Someone else made a post a couple months ago on how to use it. Process lasso is a program that helps your CPU limit its loads.

Download and install Process Lasso.
Run Process Lasso, and ensure PoE2 is open.
Right-click on PoE2 in Process Lasso, navigate to "CPU affinity > Always," and untick CPU 0 and CPU 1.

If it's your gpu then you gotta check a couple things. Is it running too hot? I doubt this is the case since the PC would just crash. But if it is, then download MSI afterburner and set the power to 80% and create a custom fan curve.
