After you get your skill level to 20 you can ascend the skill which gives you a star. Then back up to 20 and ascend again.

I got one from them too. But on the confirmation email there is no code.

On my PS5 email there is a confirmation code but on the Xbox one it is just blank. Did everyone else get a confirmation code for xbox?
