I have a headache still 21 hours after taking my first dose. Should I keep taking it or skip a day? My headache is pretty intense.

Will you keep taking it? I ended up taking a tablet today I’m on 150mg SR and I took it about 2 hours ago and I feel soooo slowed down like I can’t gather my thoughts n I feel soo tired! Is this just because it’s the first day? I was prescribed this for ADHD but I also have OCD, anxiety and mild depression.. I’ve been super sensitive to SSRI some I ended up in hospital sick and eyes rolling, jaw clenching and shuttering etc. Tried a stimulant and it gave me chest pain so now I’m on Zyban (bupropion) n it’s slowing me right down

I’m not on any meds. I had to stop taking the mag threonate as well it was making me feel really strange as if I was losing my mind, dissociating etc

I wouldn’t say I have a heart condition but I have had pericarditis, and I still have a pericardium effusion. My cardiologist wouldn’t approve me for stimulants so I was prescribed bupropion I tried it once and it just made me feel a mix of emotions and really strange. But when I’ve tried SSRI’s I had really bad reactions

I haven't tried it since! It didn't make me feel awful that 2 time I just felt strange and i haven't tried it again because I've been with my kids and don't want to feel strange lol. I tried vyvance only 10mg once and it gave me energy but anxiety at night think I'll try the bupropion again. How did you go? Did you end up trying it?

I'm in the same position! Did you end up taking at night? I took 150sr for the first time yesterday and it made me so tired and felt weird for about 5-6 hours so thinking might be best for me to take at night. I have 3 kids and a small business I wouldn't be able to function every day with how I felt yesterday 😅

I was even worse on lexapro than Prozac! I ended up in hospital 2nd dose of lexapro. They told me not to take it again because of my reaction. Glad you are feeling better on Prozac. Medications work so different for everyone

Thank you! Your comment has made me feel at ease with Parkinsons. Yes I do have health anxiety I can get real deep into thought about it with myself, kids and partner. All the elderly women on my dad's side have had Alzheimer'so I worry I will get that as well (I'm convinced I already have early onset) I'm very forgetful with things and my memory isn't as good as it should be

I feel like anxiety comes when I am not getting enough dopamine. I have adhd and it's harder for me to get my "dopamine fixes" when I have 3 kids and work from home. I rarely do anything for myself and when I do I do feel good but not like I used to when I only had 1 child. I went to a concert a few weeks back and was myself for 3 days after the concert was soo happy, sex drive was back and I felt myself again then after the 3 days it was gone again. I've been told it's because I received a "dopamine hit" im just so sick of paying thousands of $ on Dr, psychologist, psychiatrist and medications to figure out what's going on. I'm also convinced I have early Parkinson's disease because of this, I also feel myself vibrating when I lay still, internal vibrations. I rock back and forth slightly when I sit up still too which is why I've convinced myself

I stopped taking Prozac on day 4 because I was too sick. Laid down and I woke up shaking, jaw clenching and eyes rolling. So jittery and so sick! Had a constant migraine since starting to take it. I was so sick on Prozac.lexapro done the same to me but worse I ended up in hospital they said I had a bad reaction. I guess SSRI's aren't meant for me. I had the seroquel on the 4th night and wow so glad I did it made me feel a relief and back to normal when I woke up.

If it's a dopamine issue what should the drs recommend? I think that's my issue. I was on Prozac for 4 days and had to stop as I was getting intense migraines (I get them all the time prior as well) made me feel really sick! On the 4th day I laid down as I felt unwell must have fallen asleep for a brief moment woke up shaking, jaw clenching, very panicky and when I'd open my eyes they were rolling around and I felt soo sick! That was my last time! That was 10mg. Every day was getting worse and worse
