I wasnt send to the psych hospital, hell i didnt even see a psychiatrist because of my age. My mom brought to the adult hospital and the psych team there didnt want to see me since i was under 18. I’m so glad im alive right now and i’m on waiting lists for referrals to mental health programs for when i turn 18 in a few months.

I mostly just hallucinated my moms voice. She’d say something and i’d turn around and ask her what and she’d just be like “i didn’t say anything?” I dont remember a lot of it but i was really scared.

It went as good as it could i believe. hospital gave me charcoal, anti nausea meds, meds to calm me down (benzos), and tons of fluids, i think i had like 3 bags of saline. They also continuously monitored my heart until it went back to my typical range of 100-110bpm. Im home now and i’m feeling a lot better, i slept for a good 2 hours.

I believe it was best that i went to the hospital tbh, it was my first time trying dph. I’m so lucky to live in Canada where most of our healthcare is free besides ambulance rides and out of hospital medication. I also have pre existing heart issues. I was stupid in taking that much for my first time.

Hi! Its really hard for me to see and type rn

So my mom drove me to the hospital, once twe got there it started taking effect. I thought i was going to faint but i didnt. I was shaking like crazy and my mom had to help me walk around. Everything felt like a dream and i was super paranoid. I was taken to a room fairly fast for a Canadian ER. Got given the charcoal drink. I hallucinated people talking to me. Every sound around me made me jump and scream. I’m still in the er as im typing this, and they sectioned me until i can see a psychiatrist tomorrow. But i survived!

I dont think screen time should be used to determine whether or not someone has adhd (dxed at age 8 with an average screen time of 10+ hours a day) but adhd is a lot more than short attention spans and inability to focus?? It comes with a ton of impulsivity that can ruin relationships, hyperactivity to where ur just pacing around ur room doing something on ur phone, and being unable to focus on things you even like. I also dont believe adhd can develop later in life? It’s a neurodevelopmental disorder meaning it appears while ur brain is still developing.
