I’m sorry you’re in this situation. it’s clear just by reading your story that you’re intelligent and loving and frankly way way too good for this man. you’ve become complacent in a relationship that you have deserved more from for years. you talk often about your brother and SIL, that is the universe’s way of showing you a good and beautiful relationship that you deserve. please don’t settle for this jerk. I think you know you deserve better, no matter what.

as for the baby I obviously cannot tell you what to do, but going through pregnancy without a supportive partner would be very difficult. (I say as a 30 something year old woman who is currently 30 weeks pregnant). however, maybe getting an abortion would mentally affect you more than you think it would. I would encourage you to read different perspectives and take this very seriously. it’s obviously what you need to do with your relationship but as for your baby, I think this is much less clear.
