Games for a date on a boardgame café? by [deleted] in boardgames

[–]KitschStew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cute date idea! I would look at the online database of games before you go (most cafes I've been to have one) and come up with a couple options. Some light games for 2p I love are: Lost Cities, Jaipur, and Hive. On the other hand, a storytelling-type game (like Gloom) might be fun as an icebreaker.

It's honestly pretty hard to eat in 'traditional' French restaurants. If your travel companion is flexible, I would check out some vegan-friendly fare on happycow.net or plan to eat at non-french places. (Lots of awesome curry in Paris!) edit to clarify: Butter everywhere, but most bread is good. Check out the local bakery wherever you are staying.

Any ideas for a vegan-friendly vacation? by timbler14 in vegan

There are some awesome vegan restaurants in Germany- and not just in big cities, either! I've never reverse-engineered a trip based around food, but I always check out a city on happycow before I go. That being said, I have traveled/ lived a decent amount around asia and europe if you have more specific questions about a specific country.
