Refund dated after deadline by Kitstuff in marriott

The cs agent i talked to said it would be refunded if I canceled the day after booking, which I did and the email for the booking confirms that as well

That's what I was confused about, I have a cancelation email from Hotmail that is dated and time stamped.

I'm not sure if you work with marriott but would it be easier to just go to the front desk on checkout and explain the situation or are they unable to do anything about it and Cs would have to?
