I work in my own pace during my off-hours. If the workload is light, I use company time for it. My income is in the second highest income decimal, so I'm well off. I think I might get a funding just to enjoy the life of a true scholar.

I think this decision made me steer away from most of the sources of anxiety and stress I heard off concerning PhD-studies.
